It's worth it to me. No more mornings, going at my pace and when somethings happening, like friends getting together, the chances of missing are far slimmer.
And personnel, that one I have a love-hate relationship with. The love part comes from a mostly hands off approach unless I have to. It's when I have to is when I hate it. I'd much rather just leave me and everyone else alone to do their work. Doing inventory my own crew gave me no headaches. But I got to personally hand pick that crew. Give my talk of morale and emotional support, say lets at it and everyone just knew what they were doing.
But there were definitely some headache inducers on other crews. Especially other managers and people who were really bad at counting. But especially other managers. However it wasn't all that bad because short of doing something really bad they couldn't touch me. I was highbup the chain of command and protected by boss because I made him look good. One area manager found out the hard way she couldn't touch me after I chewed her *** out for berating and demeaning our workers to a store manager who herself was doing the same to her workers. I couldn't say anything to her, but I sure could laser hyperfocus my complaints amd criticisms directly to the helpless area manager who wasn't used to being treated like that. It was fun.
When one has problems in the workplace,
usually they're because one brings them
with one.
The trick is to work in highly imperfect
work environments without problems.
Blaming others dooms one to misery.

The inventory company, that one had it's own problems like no real sense if hiring standards (just have a pusle and a lame excuse for not showing up) and not really caring if the managers were supporting or abusing workers. My own boss was on par with Trump when it came to lying and he got a lot of **** from his crew over it, but we made him look good so "Pinocchio" never did anything to us.

Always ask oneself, what can I personally
do to make the work environment better?
Can I better cope with problem people?
Can I do something to improve them?

Sometimes it's just sing along to "we don't need no water let the mother ****er burn. Burn, mother ****er. Burn." Those are usually the places I work for, like the Rallys that was so severely mismanaged it got closed. Or the inventory company. Making it better would have been throwinf the VP off the rood when he told us we can't be guaranteed to a break because we don't live in California (it was common knowledge in California it was always getting sued for not comply with break laws here, but in Indiana we fought to no success just to be entitled to one 10 minute break).

If trouble follows one from job to job,
one must wonder if trouble might be
one's "dark passenger".

We've been over this. I tend to get stuck at **** jobs. It's not me, it's other people amd their **** assumptions overlooking those like me.
Last time we discussed this I brought up how some companies are starting to use skills based assessments when making hiring decisions, something that has been a win for the business as they get to see more than the applicants charm factor turned up to max amd also a win for austics as it's been shown to help get us employed.
I also read still somewhat recently that disclosing you're autistic during an interview can help. For this job it was the first time I did and maybe it did help me and got me hired. Maybe she was just desperate because of the high turn over rate and reputation as a bad job (largely and heavily revolving around the inconsistent scheduling).

I always disclosed being an engineer.
People assume that's on the spectrum.

Glosser and the victim allegedly met on a dating app but their relationship eventually went south, so they decided to block each other. That’s when Kinsey got involved.

The men allegedly planned to shoot arrows into the victim’s front door, mail her dog feces or dead rats, scalp her head, blow up the home, and release a large python to eat her daughter.

WTOC reported that Glosser found the victim’s home and built an explosive device along with Kinsey, using Tannerite. Tannerite is a brand of firearm target designed to explode when struck by a bullet. The two then used the device to blow up the woman’s house, police said.

Good grief. This is just so weird. So many disturbed people out there.

The men have been indicted on a slew of charges, including:

  • Unlawful possession of an explosive
  • First-degree arson
  • Stalking
  • Use of an explosive to commit another felony offense
  • Conspiracy to use an explosive to commit a felony
  • Possession of an unregistered destructive device
Prosecutors said the conspiracy charge carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison, and using an explosive to commit a felony carries a penalty of 10 years in prison.

The life of an Indian mendicant is ending if it still exists at all. As has been said "you can run but you can't hide" in this era. Emulating MIlarepa had passing attraction for me at one point but I (and you) are too much a product of the West to do that.

for the forst time, in a long time, I heard this on the radio today, and enjoyed it
however on the way into work tomorrow, after 4 days in New England, I think this song would be much more applicable

If you wanted to communicate you would. Knowing a language does not change that you are a product of The USA. Otherwise you'd be a panda bear.

After reading the article about the damn coffee having employees whi donate to the left, I suppose I should learn Chinese instead because if they actually wanted to take over this country is so whackass, chaotically stupif right now it probably wouldn't be too hard. Start making it economically hard on us, ramp up Bin Laden's efforts to get us to blow apart at tye seams (I still say he won because look at us now and how it was brought forth from his attack on us), and after we're killing eachother like we never have before Xi could easily waltz in as half the surviving Americans weep while the other half are too stupid to realize what just happened.
