You've been gone for a while. I work as a phlebotomist now and this appeals greatly to the side of me that loves horror, dark humor, cheesy movies that combine the two, and not being serious when I don't have to.
And walking away from a donor (I work at a plasma center) to retrieve a label or after a stick to change gloves is not serious time. Like the night I stabbed someone who's family I worked for in Indiana, and made spilling that donor's blood so humorous and funny in my head a coworker asked me what I was laughing about, when I worked there my nickname was the Assassin.

And what I mean underneath it all is just the routine stuff of spiking a bag and squeezing it to work the air bubbles out of the line.
But that's boring and if anything I have never been accused of having a lack of ir bland imagination, lol.

Yeah. I got stuck disconnects again, a second time in a row. They're so hard on my.back I asked to go stock stuff from the warehouse to give my back a break and let it calm down some.
This job in general is just set up too low for me. Disconnects especially are hard on my back.

I did get some reminders that I'm not really viewed as one of the group with my coworkers. I believe that they think and feel they're giving me equal attention and time and training opportunities, but seeing and listening to how they interact with eachother and train other employees it's clear how very little I actually get.
And their excuses are pretty lame (last time ot was because I'm part time).
