it is Maine, and I will visit that at some point, thank you, but that is about 2 hours North of where I want to be RIGHT NOW!!!!!
It's worth the 2 hour drive.
Especially when they have an air show.

I once went up there to get an engine.
An air show was in progress.
I got to fly in a WW2 trainer out over the ocean (& back).

Then I will be there...eventually... during the airshow... I like the WW2 planes..... also the WW1 planes...but those are different

And I just came across this picture... not WW2, but interesting comparison, although I doubt it is to scale

Well then, don't go there...and I won't keep a light on for you when I am there
If I went two hours north, I'd be in Minnesota.

Minnesota's alright, but the part two hours north is pretty similar to where I am now, just slightly cooler. Mostly fields.

If you move there, consider volunteering
so you can go behind the scene. It's a
great group. They even build replica
WW1 era planes.

The 20th Maine Regiment fought heroically at Gettysburg and other battles in the Civil War.

I'm in a lightning storm and heavy rain. A bolt struck not far from here just now, and I felt the thunder through my feet.
