Yes, I know...I am rather amazed at times as to what the internet actually believes.....
I don't have any of that in the house, and the ants have suddenly decided they want to move in. But chili powder across the threshold has changed their mind.

True, but I don't have a flame thrower in the house, either. And I don't want to kill them. I just don't want any more roommates.this works too
How i found out about lemon juice. Ants decided they liked coming under our front door. It was Sunday, most of France is closed so Paul went to a neighbours to ask for ant repellent. She gave him a bulb of lemon juice. It worked wonders.

The walls are cement block from the door jamb and threshold out, and the porch is concrete, so nothing to burn as long as I keep it off the interior framing and drywall. It's too warm out today to run a flame thrower anyway. It does give me some ideas for winter snow removal, though...
