I went in to a bakery one morning because I wanted a blueberry muffin... they lady in front of me asked the person behind the counter what was the difference between the 2 muffins she pointed at... the counter person said one is corn and the other is blueberry....
Woman: OK, but what is the difference
Counter: What!?, one is a Blueberry Muffin the other is a Corn Muffin
Woman: But what are the ingredients
Counter: One has blueberries in it the other is made with corn flour
Woman: OK but what are the other ingredients...

I walked out, as did the other 3 people standing behind me...

About 40 years ago I was on the Mass turnpike at about 12:00 am in the last Howard Johnsons before Boston. A guy walks in and asks the waitress

I thought I did, but upon reading the fine print, it turns out that it's not a flame thrower.

I figured fire extinguishers are red, right? So since this was white, it must do the opposite. It appears my logic was flawed.

That would be easy enough for me. In fact, if he really wanted me to attend one of his concerts, he should be willing to pay me. But, to be honest, you couldn't pay me enough to listen to his music.

Weird problem. When I plug in a headset into the Dell, I get a proper popup that the headset was detected. But no sound. Playing a test tone gets an error message about no sound but the tone plays on the DP connected monitor. Many tries, the problem remains. I had not noticed that anomaly with the tone so +1 to him for that. And +2 for trying a lot more than I had thought of trying. But the problem got +5 since it still remains. And +10 for me about saying no to a totally WIndows reload because it would take too long - too much was installed. So I'm asking ChatGPT/Gemini and perhaps the NVIDIA support people because that's our best guess.

Does one of the tries include uninstalling the driver and rebooting, then installing the driver? Did you remove it in safe mode?
