people don't make as many random meaningless announcements as they used to.

in other news, my shift key is being a real ***** lately. it requires me to hold it down extra long before it'll capitalize my letters. i am not going to spend a full minute typing each post just because each of my sentences requires five seconds just to get the first letter right. sometimes my space bar does the same thing. it just doesn't work sometimes. so brutal.

I have no idea what this is about so I must be crazy to post it here. That's 1/2 of the way there.

It's making fun of groceries prices because of the inflation we're having here. The cashier is telling the customer to return the vegetables back and wait for the day's new prices. The note above him says 8am in the supermarket.

My fantasy of what was going on is much better than the reality of what that was about. But that's the way my fantasy life is like, anyway. The world is a very different place inside my head.

Not sure how Turk got rid of it. I use to be quite arachnophobic(better now) and I went back to wake him up (day sleeper) to deal with the "huge" spider on the door. He grumbled, seemed upset that woke him up for a spider, thought I was exaggerating about the size and went to the front door. Yeah....he didn't think I was exaggerating at all after that. If I say huge spider I mean it.

I just guilt posted on FB a bit. . Since I've been laid up this past week from the surgery I haven't been able to take my daughter out to do her sales for Girl Scouts. So I posted the link to FB asking for people help her. Underhanded a bit, but I felt bad she was going to miss out on patches because of me.

Your emotions are of course perfectly valid as all emotions are valid. But to me asking for help under such circumstances is 100% Ok. I've read *MUCH* worse in the advice columns.

I felt bad pulling the surgery card basically, but I just sent her to her mtg with her order form and after counting it all up found she would be short to earn her patches for sales. I did take her out a bit before surgery, but just couldn't get everywhere we planned due to me being in bed for a week. She walked out of here with a little frown. So I hopped on FB and made a last ditch effort to try to get her patches. I don't know if it will work, but had to try.

I'd hate to be that laid up. After my last knee surgery, I could hobble around on crutches a bit, and even that was driving me nuts.
