I'm really cranky today. My sister's youngest two have no consideration for those still sleeping in the morning, my sister has been yelling at them all day, and no one is letting me take a nap.

Can you imagine the effects on a 4y/o? I mean, seriously, how stupid must one be to think that having a 4y/o jammed underneath you on a crotch rocket is a good idea? I swear, there are times I really want to go stand out in front of someone and make them stop just so I can smack the stupid out of them.

I can't stand blatantly stupid people. They ruin things for everyone. Like, this town has a Pitbull ban now. It didn't until this little 2y/o girl was killed by her family's Pitbulls. And how was she killed? She was out of the house, by herself, at 6am, while her parents were still asleep, in the backyard with the dogs they kept constantly chained up and neglected. It could have been any breed, but no, they were Pitbulls so that just fueled the fire that Pitbulls were dangerous even though it was quite obviously the parents' fault. So, because some people are dumb****s that abuse or neglect their dogs then everyone who has that breed has to get rid of their beloved pet within city limits. Pitbulls don't need banned or put down. Dumb people do.

Well, I suppose the social work place not having contacted me yet does mean they haven't necessarily decided to "move onto other candidates" yet.
It'll be the first salaried job I'll have, and my first time breaking through $20,000 a year. And having some ability to set my schedule would be a great perk.

I wish. Around here even $10/hour is really hard to get. If I get this job, I'll be making $24,000/year. And that has me really excited. I'll be able to get plenty of good stuff, including beefing up my manga, anime, and MTG cards (and sleeves) collection, and still have plenty left over.

Those who see you everyday tend to notice things last. You see gradual change happen right before you and it isn't as remarkable to actually notice for a while. Whereas someone who doesn't see you constantly will see bigger changes and it registers differently.

That and a truly loving spouse doesn't pay attention to things like weight anyway.

Yeah, it was so much better before we starting "observing' that load of bull. As if cows and corn stalks actually give a hoot about what the time of day is that we humans say it is (and with cows you can't just abruptly change their milking times like that), but this heavily agriculture and industrialized state just had to do it for "economic" purposes. I remember some even stating that is magically "creates an extra hour of daylight for police to be safe in." Of course no one wants to mention how there are more car wrecks the day we change the clocks or that candy companies are some pretty big proponents of it.

The youngest boy has plugged up the toilets because he thinks he has to use enough to toilet paper to wipe an elephant's butt. He doesn't think the metaphor is funny anymore now that he had to dig up the septic cover and unplug the pipe himself.

I once gave an employee the assignment of writing the "toliet letter".
It was a page of directions for university students on how to properly
use a toilet, and how to unclog one.
