I bought hamburger Saturday afternoon. Normally, at least in my experience, you have about 3 days with hamburger before it starts to turn. Meant to use it last night, but something came up and was going to use tonight. That's just 2 days after I bought it. Have all my pans and prep done, everything else ready to go to make dinner, grab the package of meat out and unwrap it...very brown meat, brown blood, and we won't even go into the stench. 2 days. It went that bad in 2 days? And beef isn't cheap anymore. $5/lb of nasty. Ugh.
I really like hamburger too.

Beef is something I don't really buy. It's expensive, and I don't really like it that much.

Well, I do much more with chicken and fish but we do the occasional beef dinner. Some lasagna or other pasta dish, some vege mixture, random stuff. And of course, actual hamburgers. Tonight was a pasta dish I was throwing together and the beef was rotten. Was able to substitute chicken and it was actually pretty good. Just not what I was planning on.
