Showed someone a video of a Migaloo submersible superyacht because I thought it was intersting, to which I got the response "I can't afford that" showed it to another person, their response "I don't have that kind of money" and a 3rd asked me "how much money do you think I have".

So at that point I responded with, oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize that everyone does not have multiple mansions, Yachts, Submarines, a private jet, a couple of Ferraris and a Rolls Royce like I do..... sheesh.... and I'm the poor one in my family....

Here now you too can look and think I expect you to buy one too...see you in the Bahamas so we can compare submarines/yachts

I'm not afraid of much, and I'm not claustrophobic, but submarines terrify me. Sure, they are probably at least mostly safe, but the thought of being surrounded by all that water, all that pressure, definitely not the environment for me. I'll just stand at the dock at laugh at the idea of having a swimming pool on a submarine.

I used to fix them. They're not bad. You get used to it pretty quick.

A terrible tragedy!

An Amtrak train collided Friday afternoon with a tractor-trailer carrying 70,000 pounds of bacon that was obstructing the tracks, officials said.

The train was passing through Wilmington, southwest of Chicago, when it collided with a truck near Illinois Route 53 and River Road. The trailer of the truck was overturned and split open, with its contents strewn about an embankment. The cab of the truck was separated from the trailer and came to rest on the opposite side of the train.

I have unfortunately become older and slower. I find it impossible to keep up with all new posts. Slow down people!

I read Katt Williams is a Christian. I wonder if that's true? I never would have guessed it given the language of his stand up and that it seems he is prone to violence.

My first shot to the night is a toast the fact that homophobia is on the way out. One day, even perhaps before I die, people will back on these times and wonder how we could have hated homosexuals so much we wouldn't even let them get married. Homosexuals will be accepted, and we may not even have this heterosexual/homosexual divide.

My next shot is to the death of science illiteracy. One day, no more will we hear "it's just a theory," and people won't see the Earth as something to rape, pillage, and plunder, and we'll realize that we are really screwing up by denying global warming, and not just with the warming part, that we even know that just the pollution and everything else causing it is bad, even if it wasn't causing the planet to warm up.

I really want to see Opeth in concert again. Not only because their music is awesome and they sound great live, but because their singer actually talks back to the crowd when they shout something. I've never seen these "mini-conversations" at a concert before. It was pretty cool when a few of us in the crowd were talking with him in German.

I really want the job I interviewed for today. I really, really, really want it. To be honest though, when I checked my e-mail earlier, I was already expecting the "we moved on with other candidates" that I've been getting a ton of recently.

I feel like writing a song about the expression "**** a duck," and just how fun of an expression it is, even without the implied bestiality behind the expression. "**** a duck!" It's so much fun to say.

You could do some rhyming through variations of the first *, too: *, **, *, and *** go with ...*** a duck really well! And you could always use other letters, too...:p

I woke up today, checked my email, and I was half expecting an email saying "we moved onto other candidates." I didn't get that email, and I wish I didn't have this defeatist attitude about it, but I'm starting to get used to it.
