It took me three hours to mend a hinge on the oven door of the cooker today, by using old bits in my DIY treasure box. The good news: - the cooker works; the bad news:- the door looks slightly at an angle.

The even worse news: - I think we need a new one; the amount of rust I came across under it has got me seriously thinking that our dear cooker has seen its last days.
