He can come across that way. I can name people I generally agree with that seem that way too. However I like trying to figure out his method of thought.

Yeah... I like Bill... But hitchens intrigues me too. Thats what I am getting at though.... He seems uncouth and sometimes just trashed. lol.
One thing I try to figure out is why he is so popular. Why is this overweight seemingly drunk dude so popular? I mean he can be funny. Sure. He is a great author etc... but he is also fantastic at debate. He just goes out and debates theism etc and not like we debate here. He just grabs a mic: YouTube - Hitchens' opening Barrage. Salvo 1
CNN has had him on a few times though they occasionally 'accidentally' cut him off. But is he contributing to the growing secularism in the US. (Whether you believe secularism is growing or not is probably a matter a perspective but you can watch this clip to see another point of view: YouTube - Is America becoming more secular? Part 1 )
Regardless of hitchens or dawkins or any other in the press kind of atheist dude. Religion matters to an atheist. This random youtube guy has his own argument: YouTube - Why do atheists care about religion?
But I think religion matters to atheists and I dunno if as an atheist I do enough... Maybe I just feel guilty.
anyways... yeah Hitchens can be blunt at times.

Really? You've never heard of the show Politically Incorrect? Bill Maher has been around for long time it seems to me anyway, but I've always had a thing for politics anyway.
It's happened to me as well, servers occasionally crash, at least it doesn't seem to be too frequent on here.

Good for you! It could have been someone you know. I was getting calls like that from some guys at school for weeks, then I told them my number changed...I gave them my dad's number instead...

Haha. Well I feel better knowing I'm not the only one! That **** was really starting to **** me off because he'd call at 4, 6, 7am and wake me up after I had just fallen alseep!
