Tonight i'm going to see a hypnotist show,i expect he will have people doing stupid things

I went to one quite a few years ago, but there was no "human tricks". Just a group hypno-therapy session. Interesting people there to say the least. Well worth the free admission.

My old Uni is having their Groundhog Day celebration tonight...I will probably be rather happily flushed and tipsy by the time my room mate and I return home. It shall be fun :D (hooray free beer, live music, friends, and s'mores over a bonfire!)

Lol it's a little complicated. I've got a psycho ex I'm going to have to avoid all night...I think he would either try to shove me in a bonfire or propose to me. Really not sure which :areyoucra
But it should be a fun night nonetheless :D Wish I could take some of you RFers with me!

Take Rueben the Thai food guy with you! Then he and your ex can fight and you will be free to have fun the rest of the night!

The psychic dinner went well. After the psychic successfully read me as an artist and writer, she offered me the opportunity to illustrate a children's book about a turkey with only one leg who strives to overcome it's handicap among the flock. I may consider it. As for DarkSun's question about what he was thinking at a particular time, she wanted to know who DarkSun was and why did he want to know what he was thinking at the moment? Sadly, I couldn't provide and explanation.

Make sure to tell us all about it when you get back! :bounce

The first part of the show was a bit boring, getting volunteers and preparing them to be hypnotised so i spent most of the time at the bar and imbibed in a few pints of beer hic!.
When the second half started started the hypnotist asked for the people he worked on in the first half to come to the stage,he then put them under although some would'nt go completely under so they left the stage which left 5.
The hypnotist got them all to do silly stuff like being F1 drivers,Jockeys which was funny especially the jumps but the best was Laptop dancers which was hilarious.
Although it was funny its not something i would rush to see again and i think people have misconceptions about Hypnotism as you cannot make people do things if they don't want to.

While my son was watching the Superbowl, I saw a commercial in which Jack in the Box was hit by a bus. Did anyone else see it?

mrscardero and I have another Psychic Dinner planned for Saturday evening at the Bavarion Manor in Catskill, NY. If any RF member has a question that they would like me to ask one of the psychics, I will choose one member and post the answer tomorrow evening.
I missed this, but I figure they probably already knew what I would've asked anyway.

Nope.

Besides the fact I was watching Top Gear instead, Canadian cable is funky: if a show is on simultaneously on a Canadian and an American station, the cable company has to run the Canadian version (including the Canadian commercials) on the US station's channel. People complain about this every year around Superbowl time.
