But what if they are pregnant, do you want to say "No, I didn't think you were pregnant. I thought the belly was because you were fat", would that really be more polite than thinking someone is pregnant first? Maybe your coworker should do some sit ups?

Huh? In public, when it's someone you don't know, you just don't ask or suggest that they are pregnant in the first place. That's a general rule of thumb and apparently not everyone got the memo.

So I make flags for the science fiction I write. This is one I just made:

So my manager told me this story tonight....one of the girls who works with us isn't fat, but she has a big gut. She was ringing someone up the other day and lifted one of the customer's items to put it in her cart and the woman exclaimed, "Oh no, honey, don't! Aren't you pregnant?" And the girl we work with said, "No, I'm just fat."

So this is both sad and hilarious. Don't people, ESPECIALLY women, know NEVER to suggest a woman is pregnant? What a ******* dingbat!!!!

That is so true...

I have a cold, and feel like poo poo:sad4:
You know when I have a cold I make myself some cream of tomato soup, with jalapenos, cayenne peppers, sriracha, garlic, and Lawry's seasoned salt. I guarantee it will unblock your sinuses and make you forget all about your cold. :D

I'm so freaking bored...but I should be studying. But I can't quite bring myself to do it.
So I should go to bed. But I can't because I should study.
*sigh*

So instead, I'm on RF, listening to Sigur Ros on repeat.

Maybe you should study in the 10 minutes before the class like I do. :D

It does indeed look like that is what I'll be doing. Old habits die hard, apparently :D

*shakes head* I seriously have no idea how I've managed to make honor roll and dean's list. :cover:

Ooh good job!

Yea, cramming has always worked for me. Why fix something that works? :angel2:

Maybe it's because you are smart. There are two types of smart:

1. Naturally smart.

2. Smart only if you study a lot.

(and then there are street smarts and whatnot...)

I think I'm just abnormally good at being full of ****. :cover:
lol

On a side note:
My wisdom tooth is coming in again...it hurts like crazy :help: :sad4:
I only have three of them. The other two have finished breaking through the gum and are just chillin' out.
But my third and final one has been taking years (literally) to finish coming in. It'll grow a little and hurt like crazy for about two weeks, then it'll stop coming in and it feels fine once the gum heals up. Then, months later, it'll grow in a little more and hurt like crazy. Then stop.... Over and over and over again. I end up not being able to eat because it hurts so much :(

My wisdom teeth are talking forever too. There will be just one day when I can feel one of them growing in, and then a while when I can't...

But about school, I'm pretty good at being full of **** too. :D I remember when I had a chemistry class last year, and I couldn't stay awake most of the time. When we had tests, I had no idea what most of it meant, but just made stuff up. I never left anything blank, but probably didn't have the right answer for anything either. I got a B though. :D

I don't usually study a lot though. I can usually tell which classes I'll get B's in and which ones I'll get A's in by the first few weeks of the semester. I don't put a lot of effort into school any more. B's are good enough.

Here's my predictions:

Health: A
English: A
other English: A/B (that guy is a big douche and I can't really tell how that will go...)
Multiculturalism thing: A
Botany: too early to tell... I'll know after the first exam
Art: A

Looks like it will be a fairly easy semester. :D
