I found and got in contact with a friend I had since 5 years old that I hadn't seen in 10 years, she came for a visit yesterday, decided to take me out for my very first trip to a casino in the middle of the night. had fun. btw, slots are money sucking traps I just don't understand the allure of...the blackjack table though...that's sweet fun and profittable. :yes:

My dad once bought a slot machine. It was weird. I wonder if we still have it... My sisters and I would put the quarters in, and when it ate them all, we'd open the door with the key, get the quarters out and put them in again... Also, before my younger sister was born, when my older sister and I were really young, my dad had a bunch of arcade games, like a pinball game, one with a golden bird you had to rescue, and one with cops and robbers. We did the same thing with the quarters on those too. I don't know why he bought them, considering we were really poor and my mom stole stuff from dumpsters. You'd think we wouldn't waste what little money we had buying old arcade games... It doesn't matter though. It was fun.

I have no clue. This is the second time it's done this. I thought the first one was a fluke. Maybe it just picks up on temperatures. But if that was the case, it would've been going off all last summer
Back at my Uni, they had to turn some of the sensors off because they kept going off when people would shower.
A lot of sensors go off when there's a sudden change in the number of particles in the air....so, if a large puff of steam or smoke hits it, it registers the sudden change in the air and goes off.
I even know one poor guy who set it off because he shook out a particularly dusty blanket...the dust cloud set it off :cover: lol
