I'd say one definition is actually learning languages instead of just talking to foreigners in English. If you speak very loudly and slowly, they'll get what you're saying.

It also helps to remember that the grammar in every foreign language is like Tarzan-speak, so you can help them understand if you use that structure, so instead of "Excuse me, can you direct me to the train station?" say "Me... train station... go... how?"

I think mi interview went well. I hope I get to student teach abroad. I don't want to get mi hopes up, bekause if I don't get to go, Imma be really sad. Even more sad if I get mi hopes up.
