I had a possibly migraine today when I woke up. So I took some advil cold and sinus meds, because I thought it was just a sinus headache. Then I went to the store with my mom and bought some chips and capri sun juice and then we went and picked up my little sister from school, but then my headache only got worse... and worse... and I felt horrible. So when we got home, I went to my room and went back to sleep for two hours. As long as I put my arm or something warm over my forehead and laid on my back, I felt better. Now I just feel stoned, which always happens after I get a migraine. I'm not sure if that was a migraine or not though, since putting my arm over my head made it feel better, which usually only works very unoticeably.

NO!! I don't need one. Plus, my chemistry teacher told us not to take those because we still have a small chance of getting Rys syndrome at our age. I feel better now, just loopy and stoned-ish.

Baggins threw a fit and spilled his water dish today. He also noticed the guinea pig again today and threw a fit about that too. Every once in a while, the dogs remember that there is a guinea pig living among them, and it really ****** them off.

I do hope all you Aussies know that you can thank Paul Hogan for the infamous "Shrimp on the barbie" line that people in the US seem to think you always say every weekend.

Yes, we can thank Hogan for that. We can also thank him for the numerous tourists who came here for that shrimp on the barbie.

And we actually do put shrimp on the barbecue on most weekends. Otherwise, we do beef steaks.

There's a "What Movies Are You Watching" thread, but there should also be a "What Movies Are You Watching" in the Eros room.

Today, in 1859, Darwin's On the Origin of Species was published.
Today, in 1974, the world's most famous Australopithecus afarensis was discovered by Dr. Johanson.
Today, in 1632, Baruch Spinoza, one of the great 17th century rationalists, was born.

I think atheist evolutionists will celebrate today with a few orgies and maybe some rioting.

I don't get the whole "nature/nurture" dichotomy. You can nurture a nature. And what if your nature is to nurture? What do you do then?
