Snapple fun fact:
Ulysses Simpson(I did not know this is what the S stood for)
Grant once got a $20.00 fine for speeding on his horse.

President Grant was arrested and fined? He'd never get elected nowadays. In fact, I don't think very many of our old presidents would have been electable nowadays.
President candidates are allowed to be dishonest, to criticize freely when they are no better, but they are not allowed to speed on a horse. :D:D:D

I improved my CMS: tags and other things are now stored centrally via hash, yay! while implementing that which deletes orphaned data automatically, I wiped out all my tags, too! over 5000 :/ now I'll have to tag it better, and you can watch. (or not, I guess I just want to share the joy of such extremely stimulating tasks)

Why do folks complain about proselytizing? Just had two wonderfully polite Christians knocking on my door to tell me all about salvation. I invited them in, had a chat and somehow I doubt they'll be coming back.
Most fun I've had in ages :bat:

Besides what I think you're implying ;) I find Jehova's witnesses to be quite polite and kind among Christians when it comes to proselytizing. Some are a bit pushy, but they tend to be respectful.

I actually have no issues with missionaries.
I don't think there's been a Mormon missionary at my door who hasn't shook my hand and tell something nice like I'm smart or awesome before they go on to the next house. ... How difficult it is not to get a big ego.. :D

I actually find that Jehovah's Witnesses can be mean if they wanted to be.

But those young Mormons generally are trained to be polite as much as possible. I have to say, when I was younger, my girl friend and I truly, really, verily wanted to corrupt the cuter ones.

They were just so... pure and delightsome. :D

Really? That's so strange; I've never encountered a mean one.
A persistent one who comes every so often here, but I can't be mean to her. She's a little old lady. :D

Hey Carl, what if I knock on your door one day and tell you something about the Catechism of the Catholic Church?:p
