I just came across a traffic count that showed 666 vehicles per hour driving past Church Street. I thought that was funny.

More freaky, though: I also saw a count showing one left turn to go the wrong way up a freeway off-ramp. I sure hope that guy figured out that something was wrong after a few feet.

So I was supposed to be getting some sleep, since I work...

So I like leaving my candles to burn in the general atmosphere. Now well, since I live in an enclosed space, basically, these candles I burned must have done something, because I wake up two hours later with heartburn and an unnatural sense of alertness.

I turned on my air purifier, and threw out the candles.

Who knew that Dollar Store candles... made of paraffin wax... from China would be harmful? I daresay that was the culprit!

Now to get some shut eye, and hopefully get some beeswax candles somewhere...

That seems highly suspicious. Good thing you didnt die :D (leaving any kind of candles burning when you sleep is dangerous enough :areyoucra ;) )

Well, I did some research and saw how Dollar Store candles are actually very toxic for one's health since they mix toxic waste during the wax's liquid state in such companies... especially when they come from China.

It really was probably God's way of telling me to be more health conscious. :D

 50% gets you a C? How does that work? When I was in college 77% was the lowest you could get and still get a C. Anything below 68% was an F.
Here 70% is a C, 60% a D, and below that an F. I remember going to school in Canada where 50% was a pass and thinking, "This makes more sense!"

Oh, and happy belated birthday, Becky!

Now, to neglect Internet for the better part of two weeks and melt my brains trying to cram as much as I can inside. Why does math have to be a requirement? Canada didn't think so. ):

This isn't so random and it isn't meaningless. But would you please pray for my entire family if you pray and keep them in your thoughts if you don't. My brother passed away yesterday at the age of 44. We are all heartbroken.

I'm praying for you and will continue to pray for your whole family.

May God give you strength in this difficult time. :flower2:

What my mommy said..

Because of my uncle's passing, my legs felt like jell-o and I felt light headed today. And I cried 2 times. The only people who seemed to be nice were my friends Allanis, Rhiana and Morgen. ):

I wish you condolences, christineES, and beckyrose1998. I hope your pain passes quickly, so that you may look back on your memories of him, and simply be happy that you knew him.

Making vegetable broth out of cooking scraps I have accumulated over the past month. Got Chinese cabbage, green onions, regular onions, asparagus, shiitake stems, one white cap mushroom (just 'cause) carrots, ginger shavings and some garlic.

It has boiled for around 30 minutes, now I let it cool for a while and just sit (i'll look at it when I get off work tonight). Apparently, more of the nutrients leech out when it gets cool again. It shall be nutritious! (and hopefully delicious as well)

Hope it turns out well. I shall cook my rice with the broth next time I make rice :D
