I need to find a little bit of work tomorrow or I won't have anything to eat until I make some money :help: Fat and lazy people tend to have a lot of money to throw at menial tasks...

I hate my new job so much. The place is dirty and filthy (I cleaned mildew out from the storage cooler and freezer seals), my coworkers (all nine of them counting managers) are very lazy and tend to get rude with customers, the restroom smells like an ashtray because my coworkers are always smoking in it (even though it is illegal) I seem to be the only person that has an issue with serving food that has sat for too long (hamburger patties that have sat for two or more hours, buns that were toasted and became cold and hard), managers are typically late for their own shifts, and because it is apparently the lowest volume Rallys in this entire state I keep getting sent on 30-minute unpaid breaks and sent home early because that place just does not get busy (it's nothing to have only a few customers an hour). They even start breaking stuff down for closing 7 to 8 hours before the store closes because everybody is too busy sitting on their ***** smoking cigarettes.
I was excited about this too, because it's a job. But because the conditions are so poor and because I'm not going to be making much money at all I'm going to start looking for another job. This place couldn't even give me a shirt that fits, and the one I got from them is two sizes too big.

I don't know if you ever saw the Undercover Boss episode that did Rally's/Checker's, but holy crap, would the CEO be spitting mad over that one. He shut down one on the spot for far less and had everyone undergo retraining and get new management before he would reopen it.

PICKLES THE KID
"Old McDonald had a son. He grabbed a bunch of his father's cows and dug up couple potatoes. And decided to open up a restaurant and asked his friend's to help and they said, "You can't do it! You're just a clown!" His name? Ronald." A story by my mommy, ChristineES.

I am now even more disgusted where I work. I was cleaning around and under the cash registers, and not only did I find three pens and some change under one, I found a couple of dead flies around another one. And sadly the district manager has done nothing about the store managers failures and short comings in the past, and because I have cleaned the place up so much there is no evidence of the filthy, only a lazy closing crew that does a poor job at cleaning.
And today I got the urge to report a customer to child services because he was yelling at his kid because he didn't know right then and their what he wanted to eat. Even over the speaker you could hear the nastiness in his yelling and the tone of voice in the child trying to say he didn't know was heartbreaking. Or maybe the kid wasn't his, but I certainly hope the child wasn't the kid of the guys passenger. Someones face would go through the windshield if they yelled my kid like that, for something as trivial as that.

Get a hidden camera and show it to someone higher up the food chain with an explanation that you are trying to do your best in that job while everyone else is destroying it.

At least, that is what I would do. Maybe you would get rewarded, or maybe this is a terrible idea *shrugs*

I just realized today, that in my creative writing class the rest of the class collectively only wrote one page more than what I wrote for the first writing assignment. Tomorrow we are supposed to say what we thought of everybodies projects, and I am very eager to hear what people though of my 18 page story, and the very anime-ish style violence and gore.

I didn't think of that because I was too busy working and doing my job. As for the food holding times, that one would be very hard to get them on because they do watch them when they know someone is going to be coming in, and the store manager and district manager are friends so it is very unlikely that anyone would stop in unannounced. And the district managers supervisor is very uninterested in what goes on. So I am guessing that those above him probably don't care either, or else they probably would have investigated this store for having such a low volume. That and according to the district manager that store is one of the cleanest in his district, which if that is one of the best I hate to think of what the worst are like.

Owwie Christine! Hope you're feeling better now. Ever figure out what it was? Or at least have some idea so you know what to avoid next time?

It was either Shredded Wheat cereal, which I had for breakfast, the milk in it, or a multivitamin I took. I doubt it was the milk, and I take a vitamin everyday with no problems, so it was probably the shredded wheat- which is sad.

I purposefully avoided my usual manic outbursts that I get around the 7-9th of most months... and have noticed at times I am almost slipping into Mania because of it... weird, I wonder what will happen by the end of the month.

I have a theory then; manic and depressive cycles are not dependent on an internal clock, but external stimuli... or something like that, or rather the cycles set off on triggers but maybe can go dormant?

Heh, I'll keep taking track of it...

[For those wondering I suffer from and sometimes enjoy from Bipolar]

There's an off-white pigeon outside at the window.
He's been there for 10 minutes now, just watching me. I banged on the window, even went outside to it, and it hasn't gone anywhere, it just keeps watching me.

Now that's pretty freaky. :cover:
