There's an off-white pigeon outside at the window.
He's been there for 10 minutes now, just watching me. I banged on the window, even went outside to it, and it hasn't gone anywhere, it just keeps watching me.

Now that's pretty freaky. :cover:

Is your real name Bert and do you have a "roommate" named Ernie?

On my to-do list today:

Grocery Shop
Do some stuff in Minecraft
Set up a Necromancy altar (for respecting the dead)
Maybe play some Halo: Reach
Make sure the bank knows my new address
Get cat food

Ya... seems like a regular day in the life of a Satanist.

You might find that the pigeon is bringing you something interesting to contemplate.

One day I had a baby warbler on my balcony. I tried everything that I could think of to help it like food and water, because I thought it seemed hurt, but I didn't want to disturb it. It stayed for almost an hour.

I decided to look up totems and other things associated with the warbler just to see what information I might find. Don't recall what it said, but I came up with some information that seemed personally relevant and appropriate for me to contemplate at the time.

Shortly after that, I went outside and saw that the bird had left it's hiding place. It was standing at the edge of the balcony, looking at a tree. My first thought was, "Wow, that tree seems far away for such a little guy." But I said to it, (yes, out loud), "You can do it!" It flew off right away, seemed to struggle a bit, but made it to the tree just fine. It felt like a special experience to me.

Maybe that pigeon has something to tell you.

My to do list includes:

Washing a little laundry in bathroom sink
making bank deposit
grocery shopping
paying a couple bills
wash dishes
clean the living room
sweep and mop the bathroom floor

Have other things that need done, but they can wait for tomorrow. I'd like to play Sims or WoW sometime today. right now I'm just enjoying my morning coffee and about to grab some breakfast before I get my daughter dressed and ready to go out (she's eating breakfast right now).

No to-do list is complete without gaming and coffee, eh? :D

If I have to forego my bathroom floor and leave it for tomorrow in order to get some fun downtime, so be it ;) My mornings are coffee and breakfast, then as soon as I get Kaitlyn up and dressed and ready for the day, I'm going to be non-stop til who knows when. So I'm going to enjoy this time and I'll call it quits when I've had enough.

Hopefully I can get most of it done before Jamie gets out of school because once he's home getting things done becomes much harder to do. Kaitlyn is easy peasy. Jamie, however, is a handful. :p

Oh, and my wonderful breakfast...a ham and cheese Lean Pocket. Yep, need to go grocery shopping. lol

How did you know?! Did the pigeon tell you? :D

I checked up pigeon omens and superstitions, and well, ****; it's an omen of death. How cheery is that?! :p Stupid superstitions, being all macabre. Thank God I don't believe in them!

It finally went about about an hour when I went out and threw some seeds to it. Typical. I went out to it a few times and stood right next to it, and it didn't fly away. Just stared at me. Horrible thing. :D

I didn't mean superstitions or omens. I meant totems -- sort of like a teacher/guide from nature.

Here is just one that I quickly came across that isn't nearly as unpleasant as what you mentioned. Animal totems: Pigeon - by M. L. Kiser - Helium

(I had attended a drumming ceremony with a Muskogee medicine man and he took us through a guided meditation for seeing your totem. I recall him mentioning that sometimes totems were totems for a period of time -- and not necessarily always a life-long totem. That is where I am coming from on this -- like possibly a momentary messanger of qualities that may be trying to emerge from within, or a connection with a certain aspect of life/nature -- not as a superstition or of anything "bound" to happen.)

Sometimes I think the glass is half full, sometimes half empty. And sometimes my butt crack is really itchy, too. What does it all mean?

It means:
1. Appreciate the glass whether it is half-full or half-empty.
2. Wash your butt (including all crevices.)

When I logged on, the thread in the introduction section started with "Hello, Im an agnostic". This lead me to imagine:

Agnostics Anonymous, AA!

"Hello everyone, my name is Beauregard, and im an agnostic."

Sounds like something a radical fundamentalist denomination would come up with for "treating" agnostics in a 12 step program :D
