Interesting choice of words.
The "followers" of the religions of Abraham, tortured and murdered people that believed differently, they tore down their temples, and destroyed their Holy Documents.
This has nothing to do with a God. It has to do with destruction by depraved followers.
What truth is there in a religion, when it's followers have to, terrorize, torture, and murder, to spread it?
This being why most Heathen Religions today, - are reconstructionist. They have to rebuild with very little information, - now that they are finally allowed to do so, - gleaned from wherever they can find it.

So what? when me and my sister were growing up, she often used to run up to my room and trash it if we had an argument; I'd hear RIP-TEAR-RIP, SNAP-SNAP-SNAP as she ripped pictures off my wall and snapped the wings off my plastic model planes, it was like the aftermath of the battle of britain up there.
Once, I'd ran out of planes because of the high attrition rate so in her fury she bent my metal telescope into a banana shape, god alone knows what awesome demonic powers she was able to tap into for strength

I'm more likely to be impressed by any supernatural entity than can manipulate the stars in the observable cosmos with a "message"that may vary night after night, instructing us all as to what the "right" religion just is...
..instead of some perpetual guessing game or even dumber calling out of "god(s)_"
..like "my god can kick yer god(s) butt"...
But actually showing me and compelling us all not just what to believe, but whom.
That would help the most.

The right religion is the one currently accepted by an individual case by case. If they did not believe it was the right religion they would not follow it. Each to their own

If I bought a boxed set of "History of Rock n' Roll" videos and found every singer was in it EXCEPT Elvis, I'd demand my money back!
Same with religions; if you buy one that hasn't got Jesus the Son of God in it you'd qualify for a refund..

We're all sons and daughters of God, so every religion has it, even if they don't admit to it or know it.
To me, the Universe, Reality, etc is God and part of God, and I'm part of it. I'm a son of this world. I'm God's son, just as much as you are.

According to your reasoning, I'm a fool for not owning a Honda. Popularity contests are for kids and mindless voters. I guess Lady GaGa is a better entertainer than Elvis. Her videos are in the hundreds of millions compared to Elvis' tens of millions. Neither are as good as Prince or Michael, imo. A person's religious preference is their own. They're just deluded and gone wrong. Of course they're still God's children, even though they don't know who they are and can deal with it. Everyone is "home free" if they just recognize it. People are lost because they don't know they don't have to be. It's like having a person lost on the ocean, not being able to find the shore, but in reality he's just closing his eyes. If he just would open them, he'd see that the boat is just a few feet from the sand.
It's a bit like your concept of "accepting Jesus." If you just accept and believe in Jesus, then you're born again and you're a "child of God" (Gal 3:26). But I believe that Jesus is more of a figure, character, that represents the person we're supposed to be or become. For me, to "accept Jesus" is really about you accepting yourself as being a son of God (Universe). And by doing so, you realize how everything interconnects and that we all are children of God, and as such, by harming others, you're harming yourself.
