The Sun revolves the Earth!

The Sun does revolve around the Earth.
We see it every day.
This is a very scientific approach....but only for certain applications, ie, an observer
standing on the planet doing low technology things.
For other applications, eg, orbital mechanics of spacecraft, the Earth revolving around
the Sun is a much better model. It's also easier to describe in terms of physics.

Hmmm... Maybe I'm just ignorant, but the fact that we are able to send spacecraft across the solar system with precise accuracy towards moving planets and other heavenly bodies makes me assume that the scientific community has a pretty good idea of what's going on up there already. =/

If those planets didn't orbit the sun in a predictable way, then whatever satellites, rovers, or other things we put up there would miss their targets entirely.

What problem with my question?
i'm asking for the real observation and not for a theory.
The movement of planets is complicated and not as simple as you think of it.
It is not ONE observation, but a whole lot of observations. Here's one observation:
earth_from_space_nasa_photo_square_sticker_3quo.jpg

The Earth is a sphere traveling in space with the Moon orbiting it (technically, orbiting a common center of gravity, but that only matters if you're trying to understand the tides, the orbits of satellites, and sending probes to the moon, and so on). If this were not the case, photographs such as this would not be possible. That the Earth and Moon travel around the Sun (technically, Earth/Moon and Sun orbit a common center of gravity, but that only matters if you're launching spacecraft to other planets and the like) is based on other observations and measurements.

If you think the situation is otherwise, you need to explain how astronomers and others have gotten it so wrong for the last several hundred years.

Show me what did they observe?

They observed moons orbiting other planets which is a serious hole in the geocentric model of the solar system (i.e. everything orbits the Earth). Further, the paths of planets across the night sky further indicates that the Earth also moves (i.e. orbits the Sun) because if the planets orbited us then we wouldn't be moving, and they'd only ever move in one direction across the night sky. They do not; the other planets seem to loop or double back on themselves from our point of view as we pass them (the planets further out whose orbits are slower) or they pass us (Mercury & Venus, who are closer to the Sun and who orbit it faster than we do).

As an example, here's a chart of Mars' position in the night sky over several months in 2003 & 2005:

The view that the Earth is revolving the Sun only, is similar to the view that a dream is the chemicals only.

Those wise of themselves understand that a dream-state occurs by the chemical reactions; similar to those who're wise of existence, they understand that the Sun and planets are dualities. The Sun's revolution can be understood personally, the Earth's revolution can be understood impersonally. The Earth's revolution can be communicated, but the Sun's cannot- it can only be agreed upon- same as dream-states. This is because the Sun's revolution is above our communication ability and the communication-orientated academic laws, and the Earth's revolution isn't.

We can find communicative evidence for the Earth's revolution, but not for the Sun's. It's is the nature of things, but our nature is communication-heavy- as we talk in words. You'll not find clarity, ever, because your tongue is twisted by academic-education, supported by academicians; you'll always ping pong between clarity and confusion.

Academicians force children to neglect their dream-states to support the academic body of knowledge, and the academic mission; similar to how they force children to neglect the negative revolution of the Sun around Earth. We're taught to believe evidence-heavy observation is an arbiter of intelligence.

The result of this is the dismissal of dream-states because they are outside of the realm of academic-scientific ability, and a mutated reality emerges where the dream-state is laughed at- where the dreamers are discriminated.

Academicians call this view of opposites pseudoscience because it's not of their singular-perspective- which is ironically, the opposed argument- also "pseudoscience".

No clarity found, negative emotions arise, negative comments fall in positive locations, and the way of nature continues the academic way.

From the similar thread. Applies here; Revoltingest has the right idea.

I reiterate the original post where I say that both revolve, and not one or the other.

It's impossible to have retrograde motion without loop-de-loop (this motion is below) screwed up orbits, which defy the rest of the laws of motion, if the two bodies are not orbiting something else. Also, how does the planet avoid a Sun collision? Actually, we had not had a real idea of how this worked until Galileo had seen it through some sort of optical scope and had observed how this works with Jupiter and its moons. (Which are easily seen with a $100 telescope, even now) Anyway, you can verify that these days with a fancy pair of binoculars (they are usually visible) and you also would have to be able to explain how planets are slowing down in space and doing the loop because it is the only thing accounting for the behavior of retrograde, but doesn't make sense itself.

Anyway, the OP is a troll and should be banned or at least taken back to school for twelve years. :)

Or by using Ptolemy's epicycles. Problem though, that Mercury and Venus don't behave like the other planets.

No one has contradicted the original argument.

Education should lose it's credibility.

The Sun and Earth revolve each other.

End of the story so far...

I'm taking a course in astronomy at the moment, and as others have pointed out, Earth and Sun are revolving around a center point of gravity, which is located very close to the sun. There's no lying or deception in the education since this is pointed out. The term revolution really is about the more visible motion of astronomical objects. Earth and the planets do revolve around the sun, even if the sun wobbles a little and kind'a "revolves" as well around all other planets.

If education should lose its credibility, then from where did you get your understanding of the concept of earth and sun revolving each other? The back of a cereal box? Or did you learn about it from someone who was educated? Or did you just invent it? Or learn it from the mushrooms you shouldn't have had?

Getting benefit of how the solar system works has nothing to do with reality, for example
copper is a good conductor for electricity and not glass, we know that the copper has
loosely electrons(free electrons) that can move while glass don't has such free electrons.

The copper as a good conductor is a reality, it's their characteristics that they give and take electrons,
we didn't make such bonds but we benefitted from it.

What about education is credible?

The enumerable amount of harmful technologies we use to fulfil our desires whilst we create a barren Earth for our children to inherit?

The list of discoveries which educators egotistically proclaim to be because of their taught-intelligences?

The educated who refer to academia to stalemate debates and destroy discussions; who're are ignorant of the arguments and contradictions of others, based not on their own science, but on the science of prior men and women in educational fields?

You? (lol)

Education is leading children to a barren Earth and self-extinction. The educated don't know, or have educated-faith in a barren Earth, with the usual chants of “I don't care” or “It's going to die anyway”- education leads to unintelligent behaviour.

That which is in the list of discoveries of the educated could be discovered by ancient Egyptians, had they been through an industrial and modern era. Human intelligence has not evolved, it has de-evolved to an egotistical stupor. A stupor where people believe that they are made intelligent by education, rather than nature- the ancient Egyptians were smarter than the top scientists of Today.

I haven't heard one argument against the Sun and Earth revolving each other, only hypothetical 'loud sighs', so I'm assured I'm being ignored, and references to academic-law or prior discovery, which I've claimed to be logically unsound- education is falsity.

Look at yourselves! Or not... Or just continue losing yourselves in the variant encores of one another; laughing, farting, clapping- I don't care, education neither makes people intelligent, nor is worthy of credibility. It's a hoax, and since no-one has contradicted the original post, or the arguments I've made in this thread, I'm- without being like the educated- making this proclamation loud and clear.

If education would lose its credibility, we'd be more intelligent; but people wouldn't get jobs, or respect the law; cowards wouldn't have power delegated to them by a communication method, academic-law and the law. Nature would take it's course without the consistent whining from the weak, with natural selection in full control- we'd evolve- and children would not suffer because of our educated-slumber.

Let me guess?

A joke?

Ignorance??

A reference to academia???

Educated-intelligence is nil. The opposed argument is my proof.

The effect of the day (Sun's revolution) is as significant as the cause of the day (Earth's revolution); alike the effect of dreams are as significant as the cause of dreams. As I said, one can only be agreed upon by wise sense.
The apparent revolution of the sun is cause by Earth's rotation.
