The Supreme Court will decide if Donald Trump can be kept off 2024 presidential ballots

We are not going to agree and I am tired of arguing about this. If Trump remains on the ballots he is going to win in November, no doubt then we will see what the left does.
Amazing how clairvoyant you are. I suspect your guess about Trump winning is due to you being unable to rebut the facts about his criminal behavior. Why support such a disturbed person like Trump when he has already admitted to abusing his power if he wins again? What are you getting out of the harm he intends to inflict?

That is rather dubious. You need to check the latest polls and it is going to get worse for Trump if the economy continues to boom. People are realizing that all of Trump's claims are lies. Well except for a few rather slow ones. Near record low unemployment. Record growth, bigger than anything Trump had. Actual progress in working on some of the real problems of the country. Meanwhile Trump is sounding more senile every day. Yes, both men are past their prime, but Trump is winning the race to that finish line.
Pure delusion. If you think Biden is less senile than Trump, that just goes to show your insane bias. Can't wait for the Trump Biden debates.

Senators and Representatives, and electors are mentioned separately for precisely the reason that they are NOT "officers under the United States." Not one of them has any individual powers that they can execute. Sworn officers (President, Vice President, Cabinet Secretaries, etc., SC Justices, etc.) do take oaths of office, as do all members of the military.

I don't understand. How do you understand the following?

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.
At the start of each new Congress, in January of every odd-numbered year, one-third of senators take the oath of office to begin their new terms. While the oath-taking practice dates back to the First Congress in 1789, the current oath is a product of the 1860s, drafted during the Civil War.
The Constitution contains an oath of office for the president of the United States. For other officials, including members of Congress, that document specifies only that they "shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation to support this constitution." In 1789 the First Congress adopted a simple oath: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support the Constitution of the United States."

Are not the "NOT 'officers under the United States'" taking an Oath of Office?

Whatever, I am one of the trump supporters here that spends the most time debating trump. If you want to talk about why I support trump without insulting anyone then start another thread or message me.

I can see why you would be confused. Trump has always gone off on insane rants where he only proves how little that he knows about the topics that he is yammering about. So it is hard to note the decline. But it is there and it is getting far worse. At the end of his fraud trial where the evidence that he provided proved him to be guilty before it even started he wanted to make a statement in the closing arguments. It appears that he overruled his attorneys since he could only make an off topic rant that did not help him and only made it worse for him.

When it comes to the debates the rule will probably be made to take into account his unprofessional behavior. A debate it supposed to be about facts and evidence and those concept are simply beyond Trump. Also Trump is a chicken. He would not debate the GOP candidates, and he is probably too afraid to debate Biden.

Also what happens if the Supreme Court follows the 14th Amendment and says that Trump is disqualified from running?

Debates are a waste of time. Everyone in the GOP attends them, and still remain a distant 2nd at best.

It won't happen. Even the Oregon Supreme Court knows better. So does California's--and that's quite telling from a couple liberal dumps.

Wrong again. The Oregon Supreme Court said that it will not hear it for now. They are waiting for the USSC.

I wonder, is this bad reading comprehension on your part or cognitive dissonance.

And look at that, you were wrong about the California State Supreme Court too. If you don't want to read the link it was the California Secretary of State that refused to do so. It looks as if they will need to work a bit harder on it there. It was not totally denied in that state either:

I was wondering the same thing about you. What I said is that the Oregon Supreme Court knows better. That's what my post says, regardless of whatever you saw.

No, it does not at all. It only says the court is not going to waste its time.

Okay you do not seem to know how this works. It is already going to the Supreme Court. If they decide in Colorado's favor the most likely outcome of that is that Trump would be removed nationally from the ballot. If they decide against Colorado then there is nothing keeping Trump off the ballot. It is very dubious that they would let such a decision be done on a state by state basis, but there is a very very small chance of that. If either of the first two happen then Oregon's decision would have been pointless, whichever way that they decided and that is why they wisely decided to wait.

I should not have to explain this to you.

Maybe you should stick to geology. :)

It's all there is to find.
Yeah right. Yet you cannot name one, where I recently gave list of your failures.

Don't worry. Some day the Republicans will recover from their current mental illness. I might even vote Republican again. Though I am getting up there so they better shake a leg.

What makes you think that he has a chance of getting elected?

What's the alternative? Vice President Camel Hair?
As for Biden, he's just enraging his own political base. Siding with Israel instead of a terrorist group, striking back at other terrorists that have attacked our servicemen more than 100 times. "Terrible" things! Even black people are increasingly turning to Trump.
