Why look to the gospels? The unknown author of 1Peter predates the gospels and has no knowledge of a Christ that has already been to earth. This Peter's Christ has been revealed to him from on high and he claims that soon this Christ will be revealed to all. Yes, the Epistle is filled with revelation.

It looks like you are somehow organized in your militance; you are so passionate sometimes,like sectarians, and when people is not waiting, suddenly ten of you appear like the zombies in the movies, hehehe, like if the sound atracted more of you.

Have you heard of Bart Ehrman? He was a Bible literalist when he went to school. When he buckled down and really studied the Bible. He leaned the language it was written in . He studied the oldest writings. Do you know what happened to him as a result. He first quit being a literalist and then eventually quit being a Christian. There is a reason that JW's do not like education outside of the sect. They have no more control over what followers read.

Did you not see that the author of that only claimed to be an eyewitness? How does that help you at all? You cannot even judge by that whether he was a witness or not. It is just a puff of hot air in this debate.
