No, I don't NEED an audience. On the other hand, I do like to share my humor with those that are intelligent enough to appreciate it. If you rise to that level some day, I'd be more than happy to welcome you into the fold.

Without question, you have admirably demonstrated that you do not know how to debate, you do not adhere to the rules of debate, and you cannot defend your position (on any subject). In your case, debate is out of the question. It is simply beyond your limited abilities. So, I guess that means that I'll have to settle for boosting my self esteem.

If you want to dispute the interpretation of the evidence do so. But you must present REASONS why. Simply saying you CHOSE a different interpretation is not enough. It by itself isn't even reasonable.

If you challenge the scientific consensus - many decades old now - you need REASONS why that consensus is wrong. SCIENTIFIC reasons.

Religion plays no part in SCIENCE. You certainly MAY as a matter of religious faith chose a different interpretation. There is nothing wrong with that position. But it is religious NOT scientific.

Because it is the same fruit missing from your orchard. If a species happens to not have been fossilized, it doesn't show up in your 'Big Book of Creation' either. The same species are missing from the tree of evolution and your increasingly nebulous and undefined orchard.

Except for the fact that the orchard is an idiotic concept which cannot explain protein functional redundancy, DNA functional redundancy, transposons, redundant pseudogenes, endogenous retroviruses, anatomical parahomology, molecular parahomology, anatomical convergence, molecular convergence, anatomical suboptimal function, molecular suboptimal function, nested hierachies, convergences of independent phylogenies, vestigial structures, past and present biogeography and the ***load of transitional forms.

Stop dodging the fact that Creationism has no way of explaining any of the above. Your orchard doesn't exist.

That's the gist of it. The truth is, this site has always (and will always) have people like Danmac, MoF, 301ouncer, and Fatihah drift in for a short while to try to proselytize to the other members of the board.

Their religion of choice is really immaterial, as their positions are basically the same. They hold their views based solely on their religious dogma, with no intention of even listening to the replies that their inane ramblings provoke. They all cite discredited mistruths from the websites that have been set up for their particular religion by other misguided fools. They do so because they are too lazy to do their own homework, and the propaganda they can so easily find confirm their particular religious myths.

As a group (and individually) they have no interest in debate or the exchange of ideas. We have followers from virtually every religion on this site that are here for the open dialogue that helps them either confirm or truly question their particular beliefs. They are in the middle of their search for answers, or are here to exchange positions with other followers.

The fundamentalists, however, have absolutely no intention of listening to others, or questioning their own positions. They are simply close minded zealots that want a soapbox from which to preach their beliefs.
