High gas prices are because of Biden diminishing our fuel production limiting our supply in the US otherwise we would have plenty of supply and low gas prices. After the pandemic where we had to lockdown due to trump's denial that there was a pandemic, thus making it worse, and forcing people to extreme measures like lockdowns? Less demand for gas because we had to lockdown due to so much spread of Covid.
I'm sure the Biden administration will do what it can to help reduce gas prices. The prices are not excessive and have been higher, but as we know there are many factors that go into gas prices. A hurricane hitting Louisiana can affect prices. Let's note that current gas prices often reflect numerous factors. The war has pushed oil prices higher but we know this isn't the actual price today, but a future price. But gas producers know they can take current events and bad news and justify higher prices overnight, and we consumers have to suck on it. We have no choice. This is part of the greed of the system. The oil companies are making record profits for a reason and that is because they get to set whatever prices they want with whatever news they can exploit. That's big business. And the government can do things once in a while, but corporations are going to get the profits they want from us.High gas prices are because of Biden diminishing our fuel production limiting our supply in the US otherwise we would have plenty of supply and low gas prices.
Biden Curbed U.S. Energy Production, But Doesn't Sanction Russia's Energy Sector
Not sure about this last, but the more obvious the condemnation and sanctioning will probably get through to the Russian people despite how it is portrayed. But you have to wonder what will get through to the Russian people - many of whom will know what is happening in the Ukraine and to those they might consider as compatriots - as to revolting against the current leadership and perhaps direction of travel of Russia. Perhaps if change had happened in Belarus Putin would not have invaded."Many sports governing bodies, clubs and players have reacted to the Russian invasion of Ukraine by cancelling or postponing events due to be held in the region."
- Poland to boycott game against Russia
Perhaps RF could show solidarity with the people of Ukraine by cancelling the accounts of our own fascist sympathisers.
Democrats energy policies are counter productive. You want to get to net zero and instead of gradual they make dumb decisions without thinking of the negative consequences of their plans.I'm sure the Biden administration will do what it can to help reduce gas prices. Democrats are going with renewables. That means save the planet and hurt Putin. Drill, baby, drill is not a viable solution since oil companies won't want to invest in drilling if the planet starts cutting fossil fuel use.Democrats energy policies are counter productive. To Punish Russia, U.S. Must Unleash Energy Dominance Again
No amount of changes to our system will offset the ignorance and disinformation that is prevalent among the US population. The first step is an educated and rational population that will select less controversial characters for public office.Lots of comments in this thread seem to be of those thinking the US presidential elections has anything to do with We the People. The electoral college votes are bought and paid for. As a nation we could vote 90-100% for a third-party candidate, and we would still see the DNC or RNC primary as POTUS. It depends more on districting and $$ than on popular vote.
The US Constitution is regularly disregarded, and laws are passed to allow its circumvention by BOTH PARTIES. Corporations pay for legislation to pass in their favor... The problems are vast and numerous, too much to go further than I already have.
The ELEPHANT in the room, is that they're playing us all like JACKASSES. Meanwhile, they are grinning all the way to the bank.
If I could have my way: We would set up a communication network that is controlled by no one. Discuss the most prominent problems our different districts face. Choose leaders of each of those districts. Agree on a plan of action to resolve our localized problems. Decide before going any further, who will occupy each and every seat of office in the Union. Draw up a proper and official document (temporarily named "Declaration of Resignation") explaining that they are no longer recognized as our representatives, they will be allowed to peacefully resign and assume their role as US citizens, or they are free to leave to any country that will accept them... If we are not united as a nation, something like this is not feasible.
Or we can keep allowing them to manipulate us into dividing ourselves while the Cryptocracy grows.

It definitely has some hard truths to face and harsh lessons to learn before it evolves as a more stable nation. So what you are basically saying is that America is doomed.
Like it or not renewables are not that great right now to take the place of fossil fuels or nuclear power.Democrats are going with renewables. That means save the planet and hurt Putin. Drill, baby, drill is not a viable solution since oil companies won't want to invest in drilling if the planet starts cutting fossil fuel use.
Want to hurt Putin? Use less fossil fuel. He is powerful because the planet is still dependent on global oil production. Want to be independent? Develop renewables that use local resources. Republicans want to behave as if it is still 1950.
Historically in the USA it has been conservatives killing renewables so they can support the fossil fuel industries. Global warming is a serious issue that even republicans are beginning to admit is a serious problem.Like it or not renewables are not that great right now to take the place of fossil fuels or nuclear power.
Investment and development requires government support. This is why we need republicans to support renewables and phase out of the fossil fuel dependency. They have their place but to shut down your production to force the issue has been a big mistake.
We have geothermal and solar for our home, but to use solar panels to supply the power grid is not too good, the footprint is a tremendous amount of acreage, why not use nuclear instead?
It’s wise to use the best energy source for the application, what’s so hard to understand about this?
Do you hear yourself? More propaganda of your sources…Republicans do support renewables, as I said but seems you cannot comprehend, using the best technology for the application.Investment and development requires government support. This is why we need republicans to support renewables and phase out of the fossil fuel dependency.
But you didn't even get the "big picture" right, and exactly how is it that you supposedly know "that there is so much more going on behind what we are being led to believe."? Where did you supposedly get this "information" from, and please supply us with such a link?I just think that Biden has ulterior motives in this situation and that there is so much more going on behind what we are being led to believe. It’s important to look at the big picture.
Historically when a president or government isn’t doing too well a war is used as a distraction. Biden is doing very poorly according to polls. So having an enemy (Putin/Russia) to direct everyone’s focus and anger on us very convenient. As well, now military defense stocks are climbing... so follow the money. How often have wars been created or used to feed the military-industrial complex? But you didn't even get the "big picture" right, and exactly how is it that you supposedly know "that there is so much more going on behind what we are being led to believe."?
