Therin lies the problem, the railways have lacked investment for years which is going to cost millions to fix and to buy back for more than they were sold for, who's going to pay?,

That's not exactly a ringing endorsement of privatisation. After 30 years of being in private ownership the railways are in a sorry state and we're paying foreign companies through the nose to use them. And it seems quite strange that you're against investing in something that would inevitably bring a return on that investment but you're in favour of Trident which will more than likely cost substantially more and just sit there doing nothing. And yet you condemn liberal spending.

Lol,yes labour are sure liberal with there spending.
We need a nuclear deterrent,id rather have one than not.

The vast majority of the world's countries get by fine without one. And if you're in favour of renewing Trident you don't have any business criticising anyone else for liberal or wreckless spending.

One minute we are lambasted over freedom of movement in Europe then for a new train line that's going to drain the north of England lol, really.

Yes, really. The UK's policies are London-centric and always have been. Why do you think they talk about a Northern powerhouse but the north of England is the poorest region? Domestic movement within a nation is not the same as movement across borders between nations. Nice try but false equivalence.

you forgot hamas,if you sold a car and the new owner ran someone over who's guilty.

Fair point. It's one of my points of contention with Corbyn - he favours independence for everyone except Scotland. What a hypocrite. And at least we agree that if you sell someone a weapon then you become culpable in any crime they commit. At least we're on the same page about May's foreign policy. I also don't like to think what would happen to Israel if Hamas ever gained the upper hand.

Gladly.

May's Government is supplying the Saudis with British armaments and is even suppressing a report which shows she knows her claim that "selling the Saudis arms keeps Britain safe" is an outright lie - and is thereby covering for their reputation here at home.

If Corbyn were caught selling arms to the IRA you'd call him a traitor. And you'd be right. So since May is selling arms to the biggest foreign funders of terrorism in the UK, what does that make her?

Its not a problem, its so easy.

Yes, I fully accept that you find it easy.

This thread is hilarious. The media have you guys so brainwashed you're more concerned with what 'Leader of the Opposition' Corbyn did 20 years ago than what our Prime Minister is actually doing now.

If supporting Irish independence is bad because it involves sympathising with the IRA why are you okay with the Tories backing Saudi city-flatteners?

Hardly 20 years ago.
