The UK is not as bad as Venezuela

It seems as if Mr Corbyn and Labour are accelerating into favour at this time.

And since most politicians (all parties) thought that he would trash the Labour party if elected, it would seem as if he has proved them all to be somewhat naive?

I think the man has got guts.

To this thread yes,Venezuela sucks,fan club,one member.

Do you have personal experience of Venezuela?

Because i have personal experience and vested interest in the uk.

So unlike you, when i dis a country, a government, a mock democracy, dictatorship, withdrawal of human rights, dismantling of the health service, social services, police service, fire service etc, i speak from experience. Can you say the same about the bad mouth you give Venezuela?

I forgot to mention the BBC.

Just read the BBC "profile" (still laughing) on Britain..

" Two world wars and the end of empire diminished its role in the 20th century, and the 2016 referendum vote to leave the European Union has raised significant questions about the country's global role."

Venezuela sucks and as you've shown all along that you wont admit you are wrong and not just regarding Venezuela.

Do you honestly believe that JC & JM want to stay in the EU?

Really?
Just now, one example in hundreds, the daughter of working class parents who wants to be a nurse will need to gain a university degree course over three years, costing £9000 per annum. I won't detail the costs of eating, sleeping and clothing herself. Of course if she comes from a wealthier background she will have very little financial difficulty. Once qualified she will be scores of thousands in debt and on a nursing wage!

And while this kind of imbalance continues we are playing at being a world power with a very expensive submarine (we should have named it 'Hood') and those very expensive carriers, and supporting all manner of money wasting schemes.

I think Mr. Corbyn could do very well if he gains power, and although the ride would be very very traumatic and bumpy for some, I always did like roller-coasters.

:)

It seems the UK had a close shave at the last election.

Britain under Corbyn? Just look at Venezuela | The Spectator

If Mr Corbyn wins power then the UK will crash and burn!
It's Official Folks! And it's true, 'cos the Spectator said so!
I do love this kind of comic book junk. :p

The thing is, the Spectator is a right wing conservative mag writing for right wing conservative mag buyers.

But it was fun!

If you don’t like the Spectator, try this – https://capx.co/why-is-corbyn-still-fetishising-venezeula/

Will Corbyn speak out about the injustices Maduro’s government is inflicting on the Venezuelan people, and how Chavez’s socialist policies are responsible for the crisis? I doubt it. It seems ‘telling it like it is’ just doesn’t apply to Venezuela.

This quote by Groucho Marx sums up Corbyn – “Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others.”

If you want a critical evaluation, Venezuela is not exposed to worst case scenarios as the uk.

In the event of a nucear war between nato and russia, uk will be wiped out.

That is one area where venezuela scores over the uk.

Hi....
I clicked on the capx report, then clicked on 'about capx'.
I was just so surprised that you trawled that story up on a, wait for it...... CAPITALIST website! :p
"CapX was founded to make the case for popular capitalism."......... enough.

Will Corbyn speak out about the injustices Maduro’s government is inflicting on the Venezuelan people, and how Chavez’s socialist policies are responsible for the crisis? I doubt it. It seems ‘telling it like it is' just doesn’t apply to Venezuela.
There will be many reasons why Venezuela has dropped into a most dreadful depression. But just look at the UK stats and you will see that the Brits might, just might, vote Corbyn in next Election.
Mr Corbyn is not responsible for the highs or lows of any country at this time, but if he can do anything towards giving better chances to our young working families to get housing, or education or health, with reasonable Home Security, then it does look as if he will get a chance.

This quote by Groucho Marx sums up Corbyn – “Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others.”
Mr Corbyn, like most politicians will investigate to discover what voters want and he will alter his position in order to obtain votes. Have you ever heard of politicians doing something like that...... listening to the people?

I had never voted Labour before the last election but the Tory MP who had held this area for decades lost his seat to Labour........ there is an outside chance that Mr Corbyn could be our Prime Minister within a few years..... who knows?

Nah! That ship was simply 'Capitalist'.
Why, they even locked the steerage passengers below! :D

Stop worrying..... it hasn't happened yet, and if the stats look too good for Labour you wealthy folks can always start evacuating all your spare cash to ....... Turks & Kaikos? :p
Better still, if Labour might win, buy gold...... you'll love it!
