But I do wonder about antimissile technology, a much better coastal defence and coastguard system, and by leaving the nuclear weapons field we might be less of a nuclear target?
After all, the protagonists will all be safe underground and you and I, we will be gone, with or without that silly pink elephant of a sub. We should have named it Hood.

And whoever you mean, I'll bet that they could swallow the UK 50 times within their area, unless of course your thinking of NK, and that is most unlikely.
Think of all that money, billions, refocused towards better anti-missile tecknology, a better n bigger coastguard, and you could splash some out on better services as well.
And what on the high seas did we need that carrier for? We need home defence, not playing cowboys n injuns around the World.
Ummmm...... Mr Corbyn might fit well into No10 for a term.....

Oh we've got probs as well, so many that it would be good if we could shake hands (quickly) with and leave the EU (quickly) and then get sorting our transport, roads, healthcare, power, industry, play some decenmt footbal..... the list just goes on.
Oh no, Europe still has working health care, social services, police force, etc.
Of course they have,that's how they managed to catch all those terrorists.

Good police forces ot not, Hate crimes and Terrorism are extremely difficult to protect from.
If you will use levels of terrorism as a performance indicator for police forces then you can have no idea about just how hard policing and national security are.

Interesting, at the Tory party conference today, out of 6 or 7 speeches I caught snippets of, not one mentioned conservative policies but each chose corbyn bashing as their subject matter.
Some revelled in corbyns support of Venezuela... Not Denmark or Norway or any other countries that have the Nordic financial model upon which corbyns vision of Happy and Prosperous Britain is based.
Note, despite being a high tax country Denmark is recorded as being the happiest country in the world, largely because tat tax pays for outstanding welfare, security, social equality and 'free at the point of service' education and healthcare.
