The UK is not as bad as Venezuela

Interesting, at the Tory party conference today, out of 6 or 7 speeches I caught snippets of, not one mentioned conservative policies but each chose corbyn bashing as their subject matter.

Some revelled in corbyns support of Venezuela... Not Denmark or Norway or any other countries that have the Nordic financial model upon which corbyns vision of Happy and Prosperous Britain is based.

Note, despite being a high tax country Denmark is recorded as being the happiest country in the world, largely because tat tax pays for outstanding welfare, security, social equality and 'free at the point of service' education and healthcare.

But yeah...."Venezuela!!!"

When in doubt shout "Venezuela!"

They are clearly very worried about Mr Corbyn.
From grinning to scowling in no time at all.
And nobody has mentioned Spain, I notice.

Mrs Merkel is letting in refugees, some bombed out of their homes by mrs May and her weapons supply chain.
If you can identify individuals as terrorists then it is your duty to report your suspicions to the police otherwise you are simply engaging in islamophobia. Let me guess which it is.

OK I'll let you,its not islamophobia, over a million people walked into Europe without checking who they are,can you say with any certainty that not one has or will commit an act of terrorism?.

True.
We must have let many mid-eastern folks into our country who either hated us before or hated us after they arrived.
I think the Southwark and other terrorists were indeed either asylum seekers or immigrants.

And I'm amazed at how many times I read about Eastern Europeans committing serious crimes here, although their crimes just seem to be criminal offences.

And that's why we need some control,Merkel threw that out of the window.

I'm sad to read about your aunt, and those children.
Isn't it amazing how terrorists often end up as respected leaders?

Thanks

Well, that's why so many of us voted for brexit.
I know that Mr Corbyn didn't like that, but all politicians need to listen to the voters.

I'm just fed up with various kinds of poverty in the UK and think that he might take interest there.

But they do model corbyns dream. You seem to deliberately forget this.

If ken broke rules then why do moan about what happened? If it hadn't then you'd just moan about that. Corbyn has no chance of a fair hearing when to gripe whatever he does.

Unfortunately its not just about Corbyn, its much deeper than that, the far left have got their hooks into labour and I feel equal distrust of those too.

The Norway Denmark model may seem attractive but not as attractive as being out of the EU.

I agree that we need to tackle poverty but to fix that we need to stop this country bleeding money.

What kind of control do you think Brexit will return to us? What kind of control do you think being a member of the EU cost us? And what are you talking about? Corbyn has always been against the EU; he thinks it's a capitalist ponzi scheme or something.

This morning I watched the eu summit debate on the eu summit coming up on 19th 20th of October.
It was good to see it but just reinforced why I want out, migration was on the agenda with speakers from different member states, its very apparent that there is discord on this and some say the eu needs reforming and our referendum was a missed opportunity to do so.

What is also apparent is its like the tower of babel, apart from languages theres people from the far left, communists, centre right, conservatives, liberals far right and so on,its pretty much an expensive disaster waiting to happen, some guy from Italy said "we can get rich together or sink together",another said what happened to solidarity mrs Merkel opened the borders to over a million people without a word to the others, what a joke.

This country bleeds billions by the week, probably.
Wealthy folks transfer their funds out of this place like a torrent, into offshore tax havens. Even self righteous media freaks who spent their careers exposing 'nasties' get caught stuffing it away on desert islands.

We need to stop the bleeding. Surely.

OK, we know that if Labour should win an election that the £ would free-fall. But how would that affect our exports and manufacturing?

I can only remember one Government de-valuing the pound by 10% overnight, and that was Ted Heath's.

I stand corrected. :)
Jeez, I like him a bit better still! :D

Come on, you tell me what you reckon the EU cost us.
I reckon it cost us dearly.

I think the Wilson government did it too.

Fair enough.

Let's face it, everything is in the mix right now.

Tell you what, all it would need, about 6 months before any general election, would be for some young up-and-coming bright popular moderate-labour minister to rise up through the ranks, and somehow win the party vote, and the lanslide would engulf all.

Maybe even folks like yourself might warm to a moderate labour minister? After all, it did happen with Blair, although his mistakes sent him into the political desert, imo.
