I bet they know guns kill people and they watch "The Big Bang Theory."

But complete ignorance of the subject makes it much easier to demonize theKnowing that 191 innocent people died from multiple mass shootings involving AR15 style rifles since 2012 is probably more important than knowing the difference between a clip and a magazine.
But complete ignorance of the subject makes it much easier to demonize the
weapons, whip up hysteria, call for banning, & utterly avoid real solutions.
When I become dictator, you get to join the gun control design team.Personally, I just want more sensible, stringent, and thorough regulations, restrictions, and requirements. I'm not suggesting that anything be banned. Is that hysteria rather than a solution? People on the left consider me a "gun nut" because I support the 2nd amendment (although I don't own any guns myself), and people on the right consider me a "gun grabber" because I think guns (especially bullet hoses like the AR15) should be a bit harder to obtain than candy bars.
I know plenty of strong gun owners/advocates who misuse terms like clip/magazine and assault riffle. Knowing such details really isn't even what the debates are about. But complete ignorance of the subject makes it much easier to demonize the

I work at a community college and one of the professors told me that she had 7 students march in a protest for tighter gun legislation. When she asked them a few questions about our state regulations, they couldn't answer any of them! It is important to protest so long as you know what, specifically, you are protesting for.

Guns fire bullets that kill or maim living things, including people. There are no easily available ways to stop a bullet fired at you.But complete ignorance of the subject makes it much easier to demonize the

Sufficient for what? What's your point?Guns fire bullets that kill or maim living things, including people. There are no easily available ways to stop a bullet fired at you.
That is sufficient knowledge.

Sufficient for activism that pressurizes the politicians to enact stricter gun laws aimed at keeping guns out of hands of people who are at risk of using them on people or on themselves.Sufficient for what? What's your point?

You don't need to know the laws to protest the fact that the current laws have proved inadequate in quelling the rising incidence of mass shootings and to demand that lawmakers craft better an more effective laws.I work at a community college and one of the professors told me that she had 7 students march in a protest for tighter gun legislation.
