Earthquakes are mentioned in the Bible, climate change is not. There are some seriously ill people that want the end of the Earth predicted in the Bible.

Bahá’u’lláh foresaw WWI though. Perhaps that was the great apocalypse and 1914 had great significance after all, but in a way that was not expected by many, not even the JWs.
No one saw WW1 coming. Archduke Ferdinand was assassinated in Sarajevo and that action (called the shot that was heard around the world) plunged all the nations into a war that took everyone by surprise.....yet the Bible told us about it and the other events that would accompany it centuries before it happened. Bahá’u’lláh wasn't the first. (I still can't pronounce that man's name)
I believe that it will be well worth waiting for. What God created in the beginning got hijacked by rebels, but we have God's assurance that Christ came to get back what was taken from us by our disobedient first parents. (Isaiah 55:11) The first humans lost everlasting life in paradise on earth...this is what we can look forward to gaining back in the near future.
It becomes a balancing act of not reading too much...nor too little. These are momentous times.

In fact, most of the world’s strongest earthquakes, and 75% of the world’s volcanoes are all located along these fault lines.
In order to be considered a ‘major earthquake’, that means that each of these earthquakes exceeds a magnitude of 4.5. These aren’t minor tremors. These are major events with the potential to dramatically alter the lives of those that they impact."
For those of us interested in Bible prophesy, these quakes may be significant. (Matthew 24:7)

Thoughts? Ho hum. This happens all the time and is hardly unusual in frequency or intensity.
The ring of fire exists because of the action of plate tectonics. Is is part of the evidence of the movement of continents over millions of years. That alone sort of negates the link to Biblical stories.
A 4.5 magnitude quake is one that would be considered to be minor. The frequency of earthquakes goes up quickly as the magnitude decreases, so if you had a cut-off of magnitude 5.5, there would be far fewer quakes showing up in this report.

Sorry, it all looks like confirmation bias to me.
Given that the places we extract oil aren't close to the ring of fire, the link here is unlikely. On the other hand, the increase in small earthquakes in Oklahoma can be directly linked to fracking.
This is most definitely a sign! It is a sign of confirmation bias.

This is the "miracle" of "fulfilled prophecies".

The ring of fire is so named for a reason. It is active, very active. That one area is home to 75% of the worlds volcanoes and around 90% of all the earthquakes on earth occur in that area.
It has been active far longer than the bible.
Talking of prophecies, i guess you will see a red car in the next 7 days.

The Ring of Fire is an earthquake hotspot like the Tornado Belt in America is a hotspot for tornado activity.
Second, at 12,000-14,000 annual earthquakes, we are left with an average of roughly 230 a week for a low estimate. No one is covering these because they happen all the time.

Where in the Bible does it say than a major conflict on a global scale (thought mostly involving Europe) will take place between 1914 adn 1918 and be fought amoungst large empires with large egos, and will set the stage for WWII?

How about that, and of course that is definitely not contemporary religion and definitely contradicts atheism all at the same time. I would say you and atheists have a lot in common with Just minor detail differences is all.

Time will tell. Two thousand years later, the Jews are still waiting. I’m not though. Not anymore.
