Yup.
And shovels don’t move dirt around.

And hammers don’t hammer nails.

And phones don’t call people.

And staplers don’t staple.

And pens don’t write.

People do all those things! It’s like people figured out how to use these nifty things called tools to allow them to perform certain tasks more easily and efficiently. Kinda like how people use guns to more easily and efficiently kill lots of people!

You admit this and are still willing to ban guns huh? Can I cut off your hands too since some humans use those to murder other?

Meh, silly question. The left only wants things their way. Look at how the protestors are now crying that security at their schools is higher! You fellows are all about your 15 minutes of Fame and couldn't care less about real change.

The concept of tools is a difficult one. Maybe one day you’ll understand it.

Until then, at least others realize that a tool that is commonly used to kill people quickly and efficiently should be regulated.

So you have no problem with double standards which is fine and expected. But are you under the impression that there are no laws in place? Or perhaps that laws of Justice are like laws of physics and one cannot violate them?

What is the double standard?

I am merely talking about your juvenile claim that “guns don’t kill people, people do!” It demonstrates a wondrous lack of logical evaluation. Seriously. It is ridiculous to separate the tool from the concept of what it allows a human operater to accomplish, particularly when that human operator would not be able to accomplish such levels of death without such a tool.

The double standard that you think this but won't let the government take your hands. Hands kill people too ya know.

If you don’t understand the difference between “hands” and “guns” then I doubt I’d be able to explain it to you.

The only difference is one was made to kill through evolution and one through engineering. Double standard.

The difference is that it is a LOT harder to kill someone with bare hands. There's a lot more chance of surviving and defending oneself. Also someone can't go into a school and cause mass strangulation or something.

Guns make killing easier and quicker. That's the difference you seem to fail to grasp.

You did:

"Yes, let's keep pretending guns kill people and not bullying, mental illness, and other problems nobody wants to acknowledge they ignore."

Well yeah. Deal with those issues and you won't have the shootings. We can seriously run a simple test guys. Get a gun and lay it isn't a locked room nobody can access. Then just measure how many times it shoots without anyone to use it.

Ah so moving the goal posts. It doesn't matter if guns are easier and quicker, it matters why the person is using the gun. Would you like to strip our police and soldies of fire arms as well?

Because, as we all know, "mass stranglings" are a serious problem that happen with just as much regularity as mass shootings.

Irrelevant, the users argument was guns were made to kill so are bad.

If there's no other difference, why does the army give guns to soldiers? They already have hands...?

All the user said was "ban guns cause they're made to kill people." Now we're moving goal posts which I'm fine playing with. Do you not comprehend the difference between a mentally ill individual shooting up a school and something like a soldier or police officer being armed? Kinda disgusting to be honest haha.

Who said "ban guns cause they're made to kill people."? There's certainly some goal post shifting going on, but not by me. Sorry if you can't defend your point.

Lol you liberals don't even read each other's points?! Pathetic, sorry.

Look guys, here's a simple QED. If you want to pretend that inanimate objects grow wills and kill people I can't stop you. The real problem is simply human behavior (like bullying) and human ignorance (like not knowing the signs of a deep depression). I get we don't want to look out ourselves, it's easy to blame something else than address our own behavior (hell I used to tell my mom my dead father was the one throwing rocks in the pool, I get it). But the fact is the problem is us and we need to address these very human problems. That's... Really it. Your fridge doesn't make you fat, your couch doesn't make you lazy, it's all on you, and that's a scary fact for most people. But accepting it is the only way to cause real change.

But I know people, and it's easier to blame something else. Looks like werew in trouble.

So you admit that what you said was false and you DID say it was one or the other.

We can seriously run a simple test guys. Get a gun and lay it isn't a locked room nobody can access. Then just measure how many times it shoots without anyone to use it.
So you're saying that if you put guns out of reach of people who can and will use them to harm others, they won't harm others?

Congratulations - you just made an argument for gun control.

Irrelevant, the users argument was guns were made to kill so are bad.
Which is an argument you failed to acknowledge or address effectively, demonstrating your weakness in this debate.

All the user said was "ban guns cause they're made to kill people."
Now you're outright lying. They never said that.

I absolutely love your smug proclamation then followed by an utter failure to quote a single example of Falvlun saying that guns should be banned.

Pop quiz, genius:

Do you know the difference between banned and regulated? Answer in ten or less words, please.

So you still refuse to acknowledge that we actually ARE addressing those problems, and it is perfectly reasonable to address those problems AND the ridiculous gun situation?
