Keep it quiet though, supplies are limited.

Not where i am. The yoghurt is common enough and we have a local beekeeper who provides some of the best honeys I've tasted. Among his recent offerings is Châtaigne (Chestnut) honey, it's strong tasting powerful honey from the nectar of chestnut blossom. If you can find it anywhere i recommend you try it in your yoghurt.

And is it true Belgians eat chips with salad cream?
For fries, mayonnaise is absolutely the number 1 choice of most people.

We have "fries bars" over here in Belgium. It's our traditional "fast food", if you wish. Very typical of the country. I'ld say every village will on average have at least 2 of these. I'ld say on average about 1 per 2000 inhabitants. :D

In any case, likely the two most popular choices of fries at such bars is
1. with beef stew sauce and mayonnaise

or

2. the "special", which is with mayo, ketchup and chopped up raw onions

Mayo is almost always part of the course.
To the point that it is almost blasphemous not to ... :D

You'll have a hard time finding a restaurant that serves fries without mayo

Who knows? It wasn't a brand I was familiar with.
This is a Belgian brand and I have no idea how easy it is to get on the international market...
But BY FAR the best mayo imo is from D&L (Devos Lemmens)
