I already said three days and three nights. Sunset Wed. to sunrise Thur is first night. Sunrise Thur to sunset Thur is first day Repeat for Fridat and Saturday. That makes three. So how many days is that?

Whatever the day Jesus was put on the Cross.Best guess. Died just before sunset Wednesday. Rose from tomb sometime after sunset Saturday. Three full day and three full nights. What is your best guess?
Thanks for your opinion. Many people do not agree and those who believe the Bible know otherwise.Whatever the day Jesus was put on the Cross.
But Jesus could not and did die on the Cross. There is, therefore. no question of Jesus rising from the dead and hence no question of Jesus' ascension to the skies.
Right, please?

That's an issue for a different topic. Perhaps you could start one.
No, this thread is about three days and three nights. What could be more appropriate?lostwanderingsoul,
re: "Yes, the purpose of the story of Jonah was to show that Jonah spent 3 full days and 3 full nights in the fish and Jesus would spend 3 full days and 3 full nights in the tomb."
And that's an issue for a different topic.
MANY people believe yhis but that does not make it true.lostwanderingsoul,
re: "Good luck finding anyone."
OK, thanks. But you never know; there may be someone in the future visiting this topic who believes the crucifixion took place on the 6th day of the week, and who thinks the "heart of the earth" refers to the tomb, and who tries to explain the lack of a third night by say that the Messiah was employing common figure of speech/colloquial language.
