This is stupid on both counts, Harris doesn't need to balance her ticket with a Jew to add balance or gravitas to understand the Jewish perspective, she has her husband to help her make her own decisions. Probably Shapiro's religion was really irrelevant to her decision and Walz was a better all around candidate.And just that quick these are out already...

Just making sure the left doesn't get a swelled head and thinking he's some kind of angel.Uh-oh. This could be bad. Republicans could never vote for someone with a criminal record, them being tough on crime and all.Apparently, Walz pled guilty in 1995 to reckless driving. The DUI charge was dropped. Stealing classified documents, sexually molesting women, committing financial fraud, election interference--those pale in comparison to a DUI charge that didn't stick.

I am impressed with both his record and how he has handled himself so far. In some ways I was hoping or Pete Buttigieg (hah! spelled it right first time) but the combination of an Asian/African American woman with a married gay man with a child would likely be too much for the American populace right now. But when I see Pete during various interviews his sexuality is not even a question for me. He has been handling those questions very well. Perhaps he can be Harris's bulldog for the election. I can see a long political career for the man.
