What? Me worry?
He did more than anyone would have thought with the resources he had.

Even if you and Esmith are correct, Sanders taps into something bigger than him. The crowds who've turned out for him undeniably show that. In a way, he might be a bit like Reagan, who lost his first presidential bid only to come back and win a few years later. If he looses this time, Sanders -- or his successor -- will find it easier the next time.
Great bumper sticker but you are not looking at some of the other aspects that made this campaign successful. He reached the younger demographic in a way no one else has. He got them interested and active in politics. He introduced ideas that may gain ground later on. There are possible long term effects to his presence in this race and it's a shame that everyone is quick to brush his influence aside so quickly. Not to appear redundant, but that and a dollar will get you a soda out of many machines.
Or he wants to be Veep.I was going to say that it seems Ol' Bern might just be laying the ground work for a future Progressive. This might explain why he never attacked Clinton on any substantive level, even though he had plenty to choose from.
Wouldn't be enough for me. Despite it being attractive, as you said, it doesn't make Hillary any less dangerous.Or he wants to be Veep.
He's the ideal candidate......
- Makes Hillary appear to be less of a hawk, while not encumbering her ambitions in the least.
- Gives the impression that the party isn't entirely a tool of Wall St.
- Dems can feel like they're voting for him instead of her.
- Young women will be attracted by all the cute boys in his entourage.
Voters will ignore her being a dangerous war monger.Wouldn't be enough for me. Despite it being attractive, as you said, it doesn't make Hillary any less dangerous.
This election sucks.Voters will ignore her being a dangerous war monger.
To Dems, war is only wrong when it's waged by a Pub.
(Notice how war protests evaporated when Bush's wars became Obama's. He continued them with nary a peep from the former protesters.)
And they'll be distracted by the continued demonization of Trump.
When you dislike the one you're voting for, all you need to do is really hate the one you vote against.
That will be the foundation of her campaign.
There are elections which don't ?This election sucks.
I am a newbie to elections. Only been in two up to this point, but don't you worry, my view is becoming jaded quickly enough. There are elections which don't ?
You're on the right track.I am a newbie to elections. Only been in two up to this point, but don't you worry, my view is becoming jaded quickly enough.
Oh, I think he tends to think that almost all Dems in important roles are criminals that need to go to prison. I'd be willing to bet he believes Obama has done something to warrant impeachment and prison, about guarantee he thinks Bill Clinton should have been impeached and so on. But I also bet Bush Jr was good as gold to him. Seems his M.O. to me. Am I wrong @esmith ?What's Hillary going to jail for? I don't recall anything that's close to illegal that's on the block right now. Not that I'm one to defend her.
Bill actually was impeached.Oh, I think he tends to think that almost all Dems in important roles are criminals that need to go to prison. As of this morning:Hillary delegates 965 Sanders 317 needed to win 2383
As of this morning:
stripped of the superdelegates, the delegate count now stands at 543 to 349 with 3393 delegates remaining.
I am a Bernie guy. I have a lot of hesitations about Hillary. Are you saying Hillary's attractive? Or is it Bernie that has caught your eye?

So has Trump.
He was acquitted though wasn't he? Charges may have been brought, but they were ultimately thrown out. And why? Because it was ridiculous honestly. I never saw any impeachment stuff against Kennedy, did you? yet he was dipping in more than just Marilyn now wasn't he? I maintain that the reason so many went after Clinton in regards to Monica is because, though they may have hated him, they truly couldn't find anything else to nail him on other than him nailing. Politically, he was gold. So they had to go after his personal life.Bill actually was impeached.
I wish he'd have been convicted too.
More pols should go to prison....from both parties.
They should fear the law being applied to them too.
(See how fair & balanced I am?)
