"Serpent seed doctrine"??? Granted, I only spent my first 12 years in Oklahoma and those are not (typically) years that you'd learn about the "serpent's seed doctrine" in Sunday School, I never heard of it. Perhaps, if I hadn't been adopted and moved to Nevada, I'd eventually have learned about it in Adult Bible Study class or by making the circuit through enough churches to come across it.

The Hebrew word for serpent is "nachash" and it also means "man". A&E were given two commandments concerning sex. One positive (Be fruitful and multiply) and one negative (no sodomy). Adam (the serpent) talked Eve into oral sex. As a result of this, Eve became wise (Genesis 3:6) and Adam was cursed (Genesis 3:14).

I believe the 'seed of the serpent' doctrine can be held without the use of the apocryphal books. (Gen. 3:15) "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed;....." (1 John 3:12) "Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one,...." (John 8:44) "Ye are of your father the devil,...."

Whether it was through sex that a seed line was produced, I don't know. But something occurred at the fall that produced another seed line.

The Gospel of James says the Serpent defiled Eve.
Please try to explain this.

Eve was Adam's daughter as well as his wife. Adam was told by God not to eat from the Tree of Knowledge before Eve was created. Eve heard about this directive from Adam. Then Adam comes back to Eve and asks "Did God say..." and he tries to explain what God meant. Genesis 3:1-5. If there is such a thing as original sin, only males inherit it. It is also the main reason for circumcision.

That is my own doctrine. A&E is a parable and it is not meant to be taken literally. The serpent was a part of Adam's anatomy and A&E "ate" from Adam's body-the Tree of Knowledge, this was carnal knowledge. Adam/Satan/Chris is a sex offender.

Did this James took that sentence (that is that the serpent defiled Eve) from Hebrew mythology or maybe he invented it?

So much wrong with these statements.

First, Jesus is never called the 'second Adam'. He is the 'Last Adam' and the 'Second Man'. Big difference. (1 Cor. 15:45) It is a common mistake among people, even Christians, but it should be corrected.

Jesus is not lucifer. Lucifer is the counterfeit. The wannabe.

Apparently, you're only partially right at best. In Estro's OP, she asked three questions; I understood and answered her third question and earned an "Informative" icon for it. I

• understood her first two questions,
• realized what she was asking, and
  
• know enough about the Adam/Eve/Serpent story in Genesis to know that she was being led astray by the porn version in the Christian apocryphal story she cited,
• that I could have told her so,
• but knew that I could not clinch my claim with authority because I haven't read the Babylonian and Jerusalem Talmuds, the Mishnah, and all of the Hebrew apocryphal writings just yet.
• Meanwhile, you were still trying to figure out why she needed a "Hebrew Expert" to satisfy her curiosity.
• You don't have to be a Christian Expert on the Christian Apocrypha or Greek to know that the apocryphal story of Eve and Satan having sex is hogwash.
