Trinity: True or False?

Thank you for those verses, but they have nothing to do with the false doctrine called the trinity.

Jesus had every right to say that. Jesus said that he was here to do his father's will and that he was here in his father's name. Jesus represented his father in everything that he did. He was insync with the father. God was working through his son. (2 Cor 5). You have to remember that Jesus was a man. He even called himself a man too. Did he forget that he was a God? No, of course not.

Cant we say that me and my wife are one? Or I'm one with my family? Absolutely. Jesus is not God, there is only one God. He is the "image" and the "likeness" of his father. A perfect manifestation. It's just strange that Peter says in Acts 2, when he's standing up and talking to a large group of people that all of Jesus's miracles werent his, but it was his father's miracles that he was doing through his son. I just find that strange that Jesus cant do anything without his father if he was God himself.

You might want to read that verse again. He's talking about himself, God and us. Same with John 17.....

I believe not. He did not. It would be illogical to say that he did, simply because He called himself a man which He was also.

I believe all of that is true for the fact that He is God also and it does not negate His statement.

I believe you can but you can't say it in context of who you are. That context is the one Jesus is using and the context also contains the "I Am" statement as well.

I believe I have no trouble with that. I can't wash dishes without my right and left hand but my right hand and left hand are not separate entities.

I believe I may be but He needs to keep praying if He wants that to happen more often.

The way you answer your posts is very difficult to follow. Your just posting your answers, but we dont know what questions you are referring too.
But, sadly, because you believe in the trinity, unfortunatly, you will always disagree with people even if they prove themselves correct.....

I believe then that you are referring to the Paraclete which is often referred to as the Holy Spirit. The Father is Spirit and holy, so the term is more appropriate for Him. The Paraclete is God in believers and that is promised by Jesus in John 14.

But, sadly, because you believe in the trinity, unfortunatly, you will always disagree with people even if they prove themselves correct.....

I believe I have never found someone who could prove himself correct when they disbelieve in the Trinity. I have offered many proofs over the years. I had one thread that went over 150 pages and all one of my opponents could do was make false statements and never prove them.
