Trump Assassination Attempt

mikkel_the_dane

My own religion
Because nationalism is a mental illness, right?
Don't bother with facts, the TDS crew will lap it up regardless.

No, nationalism is a subjective belief, that some people in effect treat as objective or true or whatever you want to use for that.

Now I have a different belief since I believe in a non-national world. But both are beliefs.

I spoke about my lack of sympathy for Trump.
Try'n to turn it into something else, are ya?

And don't call me Shirley.
Oh, just a lack of sympathy, forgive me, I had the impression it was more than that...but you gotta love him go King K...

The foulest & most hostile President in my lifetime reaps what he sows.
At the risk of reopening old wounds, in 2017 when I was new to this site, you commented that you voted for Trump in 2016 because compared to Hillary, you judged him to the lesser of evils. I was already "deranged" as MAGA calls the utter rejection of that man. When I asked you about it, you said that you had already posted about that in the past and declined to comment again. You were also a bit angry to my surprise. I have been dying to revisit the topic many times over the years as you Trump rhetoric evolved, but for obvious reasons, was reluctant. This comment above suggests that you have changed your mind. Is that correct? Are you willing to discuss that now?

Apologies if you find this question annoying again. It's not my intention to do anything but hear about your journey to reach this place where you would write such words. You seem to have changed your mind about who was the lesser evil in the 2016 election.
I wonder how many more of his mentally disturbed fans will try to shoot him when they realise that he's a serial rapist and almost definitely one of Epstein's clients?
I think an equally big problem for him will be his safety in prison should he ever get there. Certain prisoners aren't acceptable to the general population and get killed, especially pedophiles and police officers. Will the Secret Service be guarding him in prison? Will he be in protective isolation?
Given all the hate directed toward Trump , are you surprised? I'm not.
Neither am I. You reap what you sow.
Trump isn't a politician.
That's an odd thing to say about a guy campaigning for office for a third time to hold office a second time.
He is a ruthless business man.
He's that as well. Also, a former reality TV personality.
Trump is dangerous to politicians. They can't control him.
That's true but look at how many are his ardent supporters.
Trump has money
He has some, but there's reason to believe that his net worth is below zero now given his unpaid civil judgments and outstanding loan compared to his equity in those properties. His Truth social platform is tanking. Why would a wealth person pay a bail bondsman to make a $200,000 bail bond? Put it up yourself and get it all back. Use a bail bond and lose ten percent:

"Trump did have to post a $200,000 bond in his separate election subversion case in Fulton County, Georgia (contributing 10% himself and working with a bail bonds company to cover the rest)"

E. Jean Carroll and Letitia James are approaching the time of selling his assets over about a half billion in judgments, which he obviously doesn't have if he lets these people take his properties. He recently sold his private jet of many years:

"With more than $500m in court fines on his back, Donald Trump has sold one of the two private jets he owns to a major Republican donor. According to FAA records, the former US president transferred ownership of the 1997 Cessna Citation X on 13 May." (source)
Surely you don't sympathize with anyone who would want him assassinated.
Did you weep for Hussein or bin Laden when they were assassinated? If not, ask yourself why, or why somebody who sees Trump as an even greater threat to America who had done more damage to America that either of those two.

I would not grieve his death but would be disappointed that he didn't get to die in prison after many, many, many years. And if he were assassinated, I'd prefer it be after the election.
the election was stolen by Dems cheating
I haven't seen that in a while, but I'll tell you what I've told others. I don't believe it but wouldn't mind it if were true, which is the case with just about every MAGA grievance: I don't believe it but also wouldn't mind it if it were true.

I view this as a cold war. It's an existential battle against America's domestic enemies. There are no rules. There is no such thing as forbearance for the Republicans any longer, an attitude they blazed the trail for beginning with the malevolent Clinton impeachment intended to humiliate the legitimate president of the US. It's taken the Democrats far too long to see what the Republicans really are and how they should be dealt with. At last, there is zero sense of fellow American or fellow anything there. House Republicans are understood as an infestation of malevolent anti-Americans interested only in power and investigating Democrats over nothing, not governing, not protecting the border, not defending democracy in Ukraine, not standing up to Putin, and trying to keep a criminal former president form being held accountable for his crimes.

So anything that harms all of that is just as justified as if it were being done to Hitler and the Nazis.
That was a joke.
No, it wasn't. Trump wants to be dictator. If you don't know that yet, it's willful ignorance or denial, and makes you part of the problem.

Trump doesn't laugh, and when he smiles, it's a smirk related to something his ego likes or somebody that he's just verbally assaulted:

I simply don't understand the MAGA mind. What do you people want? What is your vision for America under Trump? Do you think he or the Republicans care about you? They want to constrain your freedoms and remove your social safety net. They want to take the vote from you. But MAGA supports them anyway.

This is so.

Even now, I've no desire to re-hash
lengthy historical discussions of issues
& people that lack bearing on today's.
You were also a bit angry to my surprise.
Angry?
I don't anger over things we have no
control over. Politics is like weather.
It will happen as it will, regardless
of our approval or disapproval.

I'll skip the rest, but will add that Trump
now has a record in office, unlike before.
This new data is incorporated into my
political judgements.

The claims and counter claims are out there, there is no point remaking then, suffice to say that if DJT becomes president again, this time he will make sure there are no Rinos on his team.
There are only insane claims that were rejected in 60 courts, many of them with Republican judges. None of them seemed to have any reliable evidence. In fact one of the ways that one could tell that they were nonsense is that the lawyers for those cases were afraid to even comment on their supposed evidence because they knew that it was garbage. You should not be listening to insane conspiracy theorists.

If you are not aware that the US intel community has been against Trump from the beginning, and were behind the attempted assassination of him. then you are likely to also think that any suggestions that the US intel community were behind JFK's assassination is also nonsense.

The point is that since the US government gets to spend trillions of dollars each year, and companies and other lobbyists are in town to get their hands on this money in the form of contracts, Congress and the respective government departments who get to determine who gets the money, has become very very corrupted over time since WWII. The whole system is now akin to a mafia whose 'head' comprises the US intel and law agencies.

That Trump is aware of this mafia swamp and is determined to free America from the corrupt state it is in, this is sufficient reason for the Washington DC mafia to do a hit job, they will lose everything if they don't. The US is has the potential to become great again, but only if the city can be cleaned of the total corrupt state it presently is in.

Please, you need a lot more than insane conspiracy theories. Do you know why conspiracies of that sort are all but guaranteed to fail?

Corruption exists because not all people are honest, and like they say, one bad apple spoils the bunch. In time, the city of Washinton DC, like most capital cities in the world, become full of corruption. Short of some war, or perhaps a Donald Trump type, it will continue.
