They leaked that they were doing investigations on Hillary while costing her the election and any of the investigations about Russia were not disclosed. Now trump gets mad, tough, he enjoyed leaks when it wasn't him on the line.

You really are going overboard on why the Hillary lost the election aren't you. Hillary lost the election because she was a poor candidate. She took too many people for granted and only played to areas that she knew she would win.

I don't think it's so clear.
Let's say that the Russkies did hack the DNC to help Trump.
Let's ignore the benefit of DNC/Hillary corruption being exposed, & just say that hacking & leaking is wrong.
Such foreign government meddling is wrong.

But leaks from within government can be seen differently, since they could represent
corruption of our government from within. There's a very real question about why the
FBI was surveilling Flynn, & whether this was proper & legal. I'm reminded of Hoover's
bending (if not breaking) the law to effect his personal political agendas.

Moreover, we don't even know the source of the DNC/Hillary leaks (despite media contrary claims),
which could even be from within the party. And the DNC is not government....it's a corporation.

I don't know the answers.
But the hypocrisy charge should be supported better
than the simple fact that both episodes are about leaks.

I think generally the services are republican. At the same time, many of them are terrified of Trump. It's not all that hard to understand.

I have a friend who works in a private intelligence firm in Washington and he was just telling me this weekend that his co-workers are joking on a daily basis about giving Trump briefings in sound bites, because he doesn't want details. A scary proposition for the services who believe having more information than the other guy is paramount.

This is not normally their attitude, it is based upon the presidents disinterest in the details... So I would agree with cutting the dead wood,but we need to start at the top.
