Trump Calls for Ban on All Muslims Entering US

Replace "Muslims" with "Jews" and he sounds like Hitler in 1938.........
Or "Muslims" with "Japanese" and it sounds similar to the USA in 1942 when it interred between 110,000 and 120,000 mainland people of Japanese ancestry.

Truthfully, as a Democrat I hope Trump becomes the Republican presidential candidate. No matter who runs on the Democratic ticket, even Donald Duck, they'll be a sure winner.

In the meantime we Democrats just kickback and watch the show. The GOP's finest.

....................................................................................................................TRUE PRESIDENTIAL MATERIAL, DON'T YA THINK.

“Yeah, [Ivanka's] really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father . . .  I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”

Not to mention I know people (and seen videos) where some people would actually want Muslims to wear a star and crescent moon on them to signify they are Muslim. Does that sound familiar? Kind of when Hitler wanted Jews to wear the Star of David on them.

I understand.
But where HItler was sincere in his hatred, Trumps antics are mere posturing, & milder at that.
But when you start pandering to people's bigotry and hatred things can get very ugly very quickly. How far will these politicians go with this "mere posturing"?

36% of Trump supporters believe Islam should be banned outright.(source) What kind of thing could this lead to?

I'm betting 34% have never even met a Muslim in their life, only read two passages of the Quran and watch the bias media all day.

That would be bad.
Did he call for that?

NEWTON, Iowa — Donald Trump "would certainly implement" a database system tracking Muslims in the United States, the Republican front-runner told NBC News on Thursday night.
...
"I would certainly implement that. Absolutely," Trump said in Newton, Iowa, in between campaign town halls.
...
When asked whether Muslims would be legally obligated to sign into the database, Trump responded, "They have to be — they have to be."
...
Asked where they would be registered, the real estate mogul said Muslims would be signed up at "different places."
"I't's all about management," he said. "Our country has no management."

I wish I could clearly hear the questions.
I can't tell what he's advocating.
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-m...ld-trumps-comments-database-american-muslims/
After Trump’s tweet, Fox News asked him about his position on a Muslim registry.
"Let's hear it directly from you," said host Kimberly Guilfoyle. "Would President Donald Trump support a full Muslim database?"
"Basically the suggestion was made and (it’s) certainly something we should start thinking about," Trump said, repeating that the reporter presented the idea.
...
On ABC News’ This Week, host George Stephanopoulos asked Trump, "You did stir up a controversy with those comments over the database. Let's try to clear that up. Are you unequivocally now ruling out a database on all Muslims?"
"No, not at all," Trump responded.
He's basically been dodging it like he has been dodging questions in regards to his beliefs on Obama's citizenship. And, of course, placing the blame on someone else.

Trump is saying what people want to hear whether it is true (or even decent )or not.
Tom

Well Trump is a bit more deviously twisted.

Whatever he announces. . He'll reinforce his claims as..

"I'm really saying what everyone is thinking"

In other words .. he's psychic..
How could he not see those bad hair days coming?
