You are right, We officially have moved to an authoritarian state. This will ensure the election for Trump.
When an ex-President can be prosecuted for the
same crimes that the masses can, this is indeed
authoritarian. They're forcing him to obey the law!

If the masses can be prosecuted like this then we do live in an authoritarian state. Who else was prosecuted with this "theory"?
How many times did you say this would never happen? How many times did you say a person with his political power would never be convicted?
Biden had only 60% of the vote in 2020.
So if we assume 1/3 voted for Trump, then
we might expect about 4 of the jurors
having voted for him.
It's certainly highly likely that at least 1
juror voted for Trump, yet this person found
him guilty.

They said the defense only rejected one perspective juror, so no honorable excuse on the chosen jury. But we have seen how honorable Trumpet is.
