He's a qualified medical professional.
The reasons that he still holds that claim, however, suggest you would not want to take your sick kids to see him.

Nor, therefore, to hand him authority over anything medical in the United States. Unless, of course, you harbor a secret death wish.

Nobody knows how well or bad he is going to do. Only time will tell.
You can say that about anybody.

When I hire someone in my company, I also don't "know" in advance how well or bad he or she is going to do.
This is why I make evaluations and projections based on their CV and what they did in the past.

And I wouldn't expect an outstanding job from someone like him to make "america healthy again", nor would I put someone in a position of power which requires responsibility when that person seems to have a habit of choosing self-enrichment over dignity and adherence to ethical principles.

But who am I, right. I'm sure the loons in the Great Trumpian Dynasty know best.
Good luck with it.

Just out of interest....

Which specific liberty and opportunity did you lose?
The left has attacked free speech through successfully flagging social platforms such as twitter, facebook etc. The DOJ targeting conservative groups/individuals such as catholics, parents at school board meetings and pro life groups, lies most of the media have told about Trump/conservatives, buying a home is out of the question for more americans, school choice is something the left fights against.

Yes, sanity is being brought back to washington on the gender issue.
Sorry, what's sane about what is being proposed?

To refresh your memory:
"And no, I'm coping nicely, thank you. I don't live in a place where a whole law is being proposed to ban someone, who happens to be trans, legitimately elected from using Congressional bathrooms she identifies with. (Rep. Nancy Mace has authored a resolution that would ban trans women from women's bathrooms at the U.S. Capitol, just weeks before Rep.-elect Sarah McBride — the first openly trans person elected to Congress — is set to be sworn in.)"

It sounds to me like meanness, just for meanness' sake.

Which is why he's focuses on selling crap on tv like a more effective toothpaste.

The issue is nominations that are qualified to run federal agencies, and do so in a way that serves the public. It seems Trump intends to destroy the government through incompetence. How long before MAGA voters' lives are negatively affected, and they have no one to blame except their vote for a disturbed criminal?

This only applies to hate speech. And it is a response when citizens are harmed. That is the role of a civil society managing itself. No doubt hate groups want to get away with their anti-social activities, but that serves no vurpose for a secure and safe society.

Because anarchy doesn't work. Social norms and rules are things all societies through history used to maintain order and stability. You are willing to complain only about the governed wanting a safe society against right wing threats. If the left started threatening anyone with a MAGA hat or bumper sticker with death you would surely want the government to crack down. But the left tends to be more civil that the right, so it doesn't happen, and you only have your side's activity to use as "rights to defend". Sorry, but there are no absolute rights. The right to threaten others is limited by the victim's right to feel safe.

The solution is to have single occupancy bathrooms that anyone can use as well as mens and womens bathrooms. I am sure they have these. Women are not comfortable having transwomen in womens bathrooms. I think that is understandable. We should accommodate trans people, but just not in womens bathrooms.

It's important to understand the criterion that Trump uses to pick these people. And competence is not it. The criterion is total unthinking obedience. He had enough of people thwarting his plans in his first administration and he has no intention of repeating it.

Apparently, that is what Americans look for in leadership. A moron who sells things on TV. Things like watches, bitcoin, NFTs, and stupid-looking shoes.

Dr. Oz makes a lot of sense when you think about it.

Look how reactionary this post is. You're not a MAGA, you just react as if you are.

I get it. Your horse lost the race and now you are in denial and shock.
Your bottom lip is curled up and you have tears in your eyes. No need in lashing out.
You survived one Trump run, you will survive this one. It will be ok lol

There are many neutral bathrooms in public buildings. And bathrooms already have stalls that offer privacy. The whole protest against trans people is invented.

I am sure they have these. Women are not comfortable having transwomen in womens bathrooms.
Really? Where is the data? I doubt the number is high, and largely ideological. The right seems to be the party of intolerance and complaint.

I think that is understandable. We should accommodate trans people, but just not in womens bathrooms.
The only viable complaint would be from men who have open urinals. But bathrooms are built with stalls for privacy, so there’s no justification to complain except ideological intolerance.
