Trump nominates pseudo-science promoter Dr. Oz

Trump thinks of himself first and foremost, and of others in terms of how they can help him/express their loyalty to him.
This is apparent in his speech and behaviour.
It just now occurred to me how seldom, if ever, we see threads created about how wonderful and effective Trump’s ideas are. We do see them try to defend criticism, but how often do they try to serve the public good?

Why don’t we see MAGAs post a thread about how awesome massive deportations will be, and explain how it will make life better for all citizens? I think at some level they realize how bad these Project 2025 plans will be, but they have to swallow integrity and deny it.

How do you dress women who do feel uncomfortable with a trans woman in the bathroom?
I'd point out that they've been doing it for years without even realizing it. Then I'd ask how they'd feel if a person who has woman parts, but clearly presents as a man, were to be forced to use the women's washroom. Give them something to chew on.

I've yet to see any person's genitals in a public washroom. I've used both men's and women's rooms over the course of my 44 years.
It's a question of whose world revolves around whom and not everybody wants to be forced to accept a certain way
Nobody's world has to revolve around anyone. Nobody has to accept or not accept anything. Just mind your business.

Just continue doing what we've all being doing all along - Choose the bathroom you're comfortable with, go inside and do your business, wash your hands and leave.
because I know a lot of women who would not want a person still with a penis walking around in their private space at all.
People generally don't wander around public washrooms without pants on swinging their junk around. So I'd point out that's silly.

Ask them how they'd feel with a trans woman in the washroom with them instead
Personally I think a great solution would be just to make a third accommodation specifically for Trans people.
I think that sounds horrible and stigmatizing.

I do feel like Republicans are outnumbered on this forum, which is not indicative of real life.
I don't know what is "indicative of real life" in your experience. But remember that this is the North American politics forum, which means more than just The United States. And it is open to the entire planet. Considering the broader context, Republicans are a minority.

If you were on a site that was restricted to only your country, or only your state, or only your neighbourhood, things would be different.
