Trump Plan for Ideological Screening of Immigrants

My post reads nothing into it.
It poses a question.
Care to answer it?
He spoke (in the … edited out) of hating America.

I guess for clunky rhetoric he could have said
” if you hate America, and / or, if ya hate Christianity, if you hate
Israel, if you hate all that opposes Jihad”

Would that still be unacceptable?

I think you are misoverinterpreting.

In a savage Quest for any “gotcha.”

America was founded on religious fanatics fleeing Europe, to set up colonies so as to be able to set of their own religious persuasions.
the American constitution welcomes such people.
As I'm fond of pointing out, America and Australia show the world it's better to start a country with criminals than those who are highly devouted to Christianity.

Is this real or fake news?
Excerped...
Speaking to Republican voters in Derry, New Hampshire, on Monday, former President Donald Trump promised “strong ideological screening” of all immigrants if he’s elected president again—and said he’d turn away those who “don’t like our religion.” “We don’t want you in our country,” he said.
That's the first time someone has told me to leave (as I hate everything that traitor represents) since I left ****iana.

If you don't like our religion, we don't want you.

So much for the First Amendment.

How long before he turns this screening on US citizens?

Yeah he said that over a year ago.
Why is it a big deal now? Did it not matter then?

"I will implement strong ideological screening of all immigrants. If you hate America, if you want to abolish Israel, if you don't like our religion, which a lot of them don't. If you sympathize with jihadists, then we don't want you in our country. And you are not getting in," Trump said."

My question was simply about the quote
attributed to Trump by a source.
He either believes it or doesn't.
He won't say.

Gotcha, toots!

Per Trump...
All immigrants must like USA's religion.
(Which we may assume to be Christianity.)
Otherwise they can't get in.

A real conservative would want pledging
to honor the Constitution....not Trump's
sky fairy beliefs.

Yup. I was raised one and it's beyond unreasonable and entirely unacceptable to pledge loyalty to a man. It's also abhorrently anti-Christian to serve a master who isn't the Father and the Christianity Trump promotes being a heretical, idolatrized caricature of Christianity.

Umm, because he's going to be the President now.

Wondering what "our religion" is? Any thoughts?

You cannot defeat Taikoo the Impervious.

She will at some point feel sorry for you, and let
you have your little win.

I think it's interesting how even Trump's supporters are like, "hey - it's Trump! You should know better than to take what he says seriously!"
That's because most Trump supporters know and can tell the difference of what he means and what he doesn't mean by simple context.

Basically he's saying if you don't like me, then don't come to where I live. I don't know anybody who would welcome somebody that's hostile to them. Of course hostiles wouldn't be welcome here, it's common sense.

Oh my God stop the presses! Trump is trying to change the Constitution!

You need to get real on things.

Assuming that recording is genuine, I agree that it would be unconstitutional.

The point though is why did he say it when he must know perfectly well that he'll never be able to do it? Hey, you're a Trump supporter, are you not? Don't you tired of this stuff from him? If not, why not?

Why does the timing matter? If a crazy person announced, "I'm going to stab people with red hair," and you have red hair, wouldn't you be nervous if you saw that person a year later?

So you're sort of a Trump whisperer, eh.
Only members of the cult know His Word.
The outsiders...the infidels fight The Truth
as delivered from on high by The Chosen One.
Probably no better or worse than those who are Trump alarmists jumping on every conspiracy theory possible based on what he says!

Of course the fat lady will always be right in the end.
