Trump Wants Convicted Felon As Ambassador To France

We Never Know

No Slack
I wouldn't be surprised if Bill partook in that ****. If so put him and Trump in a cell together.

The thing is Bill admitted to being on the plane.
As far as I know Trump never was.

Bill was brought up in court as being on the plane.

Why was Trump brought up in court? It wasn't because he was on the plane or hanging around Epstein.

"The document also includes testimony from Ms Sjoberg saying that Epstein told her he would contact Donald Trump on their way to one of his New Jersey casinos in 2001.

"Jeffrey said, 'Great, we'll call up Trump'," she testified, after pilots said their plane could not land in New York and would need to stop in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The documents contain no alleged wrongdoing by Mr Trump."

Who defended it?
It appeared that you did.
Stating fact isn't defending it.
We've had an epidemic of posters just "stating facts"
with neither context nor meaning....so they say.
Some posters have great difficulty with candor
about their beliefs, eh. They hint, suggest, allude,
imply, & insinuate with random "facts" that seem
less than random.

You dismissed the thread by posting....
Btw, yawn... The elected pres is a convicted felon. When you can top that let me know.
That's one way Magas defend Trump's choices.
What's your opinion of this particular choice?

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Are you really going to pretend that dishonest and unethical behavior isn't a concern when it comes to positions of power? It's really sad and pitiful how readily people throw their moral compass out the window for the sake of blind party loyalty.

You've squealed over far, far less when it came to democrats.
I really don't care what goes on in a person's private life that's their business, but I do care about is seeing results and unless that person actually screws up in their job, I have no qualms as to who Trump appoints to do that job. Trump knows what he's doing.

Go talk to a MAGA instead of being a liberal "can you believe this" wanker.

Trump is a convicted felon. Him choosing a felon doesn't out do that a felon was elected president.

So again... Btw, yawn... The elected pres is a convicted felon. When you can top that let me know.

When you think just like they do, they never "screw up" ... to you.

I do think that Presidents should appoint ambassadors based on their foreign service qualifications and/or with some sort of knowledge of the country they're being sent to. Imagine what would happen if he appointed MTG as ambassador to Israel. Although, that would put her in a position to look into that whole "space laser" business. And it would keep her out of America for a while.

And the Israeli government isn't listening to any U.S. "advice", anyway.

Traditionally, ambassadorships have been given out as rewards to wealthy donors. It's a way of giving wealthy idiots a prestigious reward for loyalty, while not giving them anything important enough or powerful enough that they could screw up. It doesn't matter if they have any actual foreign service qualifications or even if they know anything about the country they're being sent to.

And people wonder why U.S. foreign policy is so screwed up as it is. It's because the diplomatic service has been used a spoils system for incompetents.
I wonder if it were even possible to
find loyal Trump donors who aren't
convicted felons or rapists?

Oh I don't disagree. I think qualifications are very important and more particularly actual experience. I should amend my posting to say that I trust Trump on a provisional basis that he knows what he's doing, so just like a lot of people, it's going to be a wait and see situation as to what the next 4 years will bring.

Is was okay for me the first time around , so I'm obviously going to give the benefit of the doubt as to the capability of his appointees and nominations.

It has to do with the two tiered injustice system. For example, how many Democrats, who child molested young girls over Epstein's Mansion were convict of child abuse or rape ?
Do you have any actual names of
people who committed such crimes?

The answer is none, because of the two tier system. The truth can be buried or it can be amplified based on who is involved.

Trump was targeted for having classified information, even though Presidents can declassify anything.
Are you claiming that he de-classified
documents before leaving office (when
he was legally able)? Evidence?
While Hillary and Biden, neither of which were President at the time, both skate free. Now that President Elect Trump won the Presidential nomination, the rules changed for him, since President elects are exempt from the law fare. Those two tier federal charges were dismissed. It is funny how that works.
I'd say prosecute them all.
You say only to let Trump get away with it.
Trump was on trial in the Spring for business fraud, based on victimless crime. It recently came out, that internal polling for the Harris and Trump election, never had the DNC ahead, yet the Harris and DNC lied that they were even or ahead, as the sales pitch used to defraud donors out of $1.5 billion. Will Harris and the DNC go to trial for business fraud? It is called a two tier injustice system. She might, since there is a new sheriff in town. Donors from NYC, can use the precedent that set up just for Trump. If that can be used to reach a former President, it can also reach a former VP. Or should the dual justice system step in?

The choice of Kushner was merit and not a two tier justice stain on his record.
And there's the cherry on top of a whataboutism defense.

Instead of draining the swamp, he's appointing it to his cabinet.

Interesting word salad there.
Trump is a convicted felon. Him choosing a felon doesn't out do that a felon was elected president.
And thus you're here in this thread to
dismiss the problem of a vile convicted
felon being ambassador to France.

I tend to think that as many of these incompetents actually take office and start doing stuff, the actual professionals and other qualified people in their respective agencies will start to bristle at having to take orders from someone who clearly doesn't know what they're doing. You could put the head of the Flat Earth Society in charge of NASA, and see what happens. (If nothing else, it would make for some funny news stories.)

That is one possibility.
Another is that Trump intends to implement what
these incompetents believe. And underlings who
resist can be replaced with loyal minions of The Master.

I think there might be some protections in place and rules preventing civil servants from being dismissed willy-nilly like that, but Trump may try to have those rules changed.
