Trump's son's business looking to hire six H-2 foreign workers @ $10.72/hr

If you can read this, you are as lucky as I am.
My bother recently filled out a W-2. His expected compliance with federal regulations is expected.

Why not hire American? This presidency is turning into a disaster. Everything Trump has said he'd do, he's lied about. All the people who voted for him are shocked he's doing the opposite.

There's 2 types of republicans, the top 1% and the suckers.

This law is designed to avoid exploitation of immigrant workers. He's well within his compliance with federal law to use these workers .

There is plenty to argue about elsewhere, but this isn't a thing.

I don't want to assume anything, but one possibility among many is that this thread is an attempt to bait people into doing what you just did. Who knows, as the OP is mum.

And now with Trump's saber-rattling on nukes, I wonder what those who claimed that it was Hillary that's the "war-monger" now think? It's now obvious that they missed what should have been obvious even early on.

I thought Trump was dangerous before the election, & his talk of nukes confirms this.
You believe Hillary was the safer choice perhaps, but this might be the result of looking
only at Trump, & seeking out bias confirming evidence. Weighing the faults of the two,
she still looks worse to me.

Trump will do things which we voters dislike...perhaps horrible things.
But an I-told-you-so taunt from the Hillary camp rings hollow because she was also
quite capable of doing heinous things, particularly starting a major new useless war.
Analogy time.....

It seems that many do not understand those of us who are outside of their left-right paradigm.

It reminds me of the book Flatland.
You & I live in Flatland, but they live in Lineland.
They can only see the portion of us intersecting
their one dimensional world.

Any chance of these foreign workers actually getting paid?
It's one thing to stiff contractors, who must use the courts to recover money,
but employees have far greater power. If not paid all they're owed, the state
will come down on the employer like a ton of bricks. I've seen these scenarios
repeated time after time.
Even if one fires an employee for theft, vandalism & assaulting a co-worker,
one always gives them the pay they're owed. That's how it is here.

Trump was dangerous before running for president. Now we're witnessing it first hand.

I didn't like either candidate.
So I went with the lesser of two dangerous people.
At least I hope I did.
For me it was a case of liking Hillary a bit less than Trump.
Either way we Americans must live with it.
Positives for Trump:
He owes no one anything.
He appears to get on well with Putin.
Trump will hire the best of the best staff.
I'm going out on a limb and say he will do o.k.
Not great but at least o.k.
He brings lovely back to the office of First Lady.
Trump might get real tough on terror.

Anyone who thinks he/she knows everything without the need for knowledge is dangerous. No one knows what Trump owes or doesn't since his taxes remain hidden from the public. By the looks of things this is not a presidency, its a family dynasty.

Those aren't reasons to vote for Trump. Everything he promised, he's already backtracked on. And he's not even president. Face it, people voted for Trump based on propaganda and lies towards Hillary.

Benghazi? Nope, no wrong doing.
Email server? Nope, no wrong doing.
Clinton Foundation? Nope, no wrong doing.
etc etc.

Every single thing RW media propagandized this election season was enough to scare voters away from Hillary. People voted based on lies and disinformation. What you said above is evidence of that.

You're right, America will live with their decision. Could be worse situation than the last republican presidency. Especially given that they control all branches.

Just a warning, I didn't vote for him. I didn't vote republican because I'm in the middle class. Candidate didn't really matter.
