Hi, first post here.

The o'matic first time and several other times has me as a Ba'hai, the only issue with which I have was what I read about excommunication. I'll never be catholic for the same reason. My faith is own, and I do not a middle man to dictate terms between me and the almighty.

I know what I am, raised protestant, briefly wiccan curious, explored shugendo (Japanese mountain holyman tradition, mix of shingon bhuddism and shinto), become a universal sufi and shaman curious (from a meditation standpoint.)

I feel belief-o-matic ISN'T telling you what you ARE... but rather WHAT YOU HAVE IN COMMON, with these Paths.

:) just wanted to throw that in there.

Yes. I think that this is a good tool for understanding the similarities between religions, because a lot of people don't seem to realize how alike they are. Not saying this is the case for RF, but more for the rest of the world. Of course, as it stands the quiz could stand to be a lot more detailed and include more paths, but alas it seems to be a work in progress.

Anyway, here are my results.

1. Unitarian Universalism (100%)
2. Mahayana Buddhism (96%) Hurraaaay!
3. Neo-Pagan (93%) Ooh
4. Theravada Buddhism (91%) :)
5. New Age (82%)
6. Hinduism (80%) Interesting and neat
7. Liberal Quakers (75%)
8. Secular Humanism (71%)
9. Taoism (68%) I thought this would be higher
10. Jainism (65%)
11. New Thought (65%)
12. Sikhism (63%)
13. Scientology (60%)
14. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (59%)
15. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (54%)
16. Nontheist (45%)
17. Orthodox Quaker (41%)
18. Reform Judaism (40%)
19. Baha'i Faith (29%)
20. Orthodox Judaism (21%)
21. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (19%)
22. Seventh Day Adventist (16%)
23. Jehovah's Witness (14%)
24. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (14%)
25. Eastern Orthodox (12%)
26. Islam (12%)
27. Roman Catholic (12%)

All in all it seems like a rather normal set of results. :)
