I always get Unitarian Universalism first. All of the others are fairly different though.

Everyone gets UU first more or less...because you can believe in anything and still conform to UU worldviews...which are as elastic as MC Hammer's pants...

I'd say the 'house' is big enough for all people who want to come check it out....




I think the Belief-o-Matic is to display what you have in common with other faith traditions, and isn't telling you what you ought to be or are.

And in that space, one can look deeply at those similarities and see how other people connect on similar issues and concerns. For some that might mean trying it out... for others simply knowing that they aren't alone in their Ideas.

Personally speaking, in my readings of texts and about 'other' Paths/Traditions, there are at times, explanations or scripture that have helped me connect with and more deeply touch my own Path.
